I called up Representative Dave Weldon to thank him for introducing the bill. Real nice lady answered the phone.

I asked for the status. She said that it was in the Committee headed by Rep. Sensenbrenner http://www.house.gov/sensenbrenner/contact.htm

I called the number above. The gentleman said that it was introduced yesterday and that it has not made it out of the committee yet. I asked him which committee and he didn't know. It didn't sound like it was scheduled to be introduced to the full House anytime soon.

Sounds like we need to find out which committee and call all the members on it.

The bill goes to the Judiciary committee. I don't see it on the schedule yet.
