I just called Florida President Senate Tom Lee's office at 850-487-5072 to urge him to support HB 701 (Starvation and Dehydration of Persons with Disabilities Prevention Act).

As soon as I mentioned a bill, the assistant quickly said "thank you." I asked her if she needed the bill number. She said they are well aware of the bill and have received a lot of phone calls today.

I called Senator Bill Nelson and Rep Bill Young's office in Washington DC. Each office has received a lot of phone calls from people asking that they support the new bill being introduced by Rep David Weldon and Senator Mel Martinez.
