NEWSFLASH: Most politicians are gutless particularly when it comes to pro-life issues. We have been BURNED time and again throughout these 30 years. How DARE you suggest we have no right to make such criticisms. And BTW, I can't think of a SINGLE politician who WOULD have the guts to take Terri into protective custody probably NOT EVEN Ronald Reagan, how's that for judgmentalism?
Thus, there is NO BETTER reason to march on TALLAHASSEE. It may give Jeb Bush the courage, momentum and COVER to take what ever action is needed to save Terri's life, just as the MARCH for Justice gave the House managers the support and momentum they needed to proceed with the SUCCESSFUL IMPEACHMENT of one WILLIAM JEFFERSON CLINTON.
"Please remind me, if I should ever count you as an admirer of me(sure that won't happen), as you say you are of Jeb Bush, not to expect that you will refrain from making disparaging remarks about me even as you claim to admire me."
If you are NOT a leader, politician, spokesperson or role model, you won't have to worry about it. Furthermore, this is America, where we do indeed (and thank God), discuss and even criticize the most admired among us, particularly our leaders. If you don't understand THAT you don't understand the First Amendment.
I can't think of a SINGLE politician who WOULD have the guts to take Terri into protective custody probably
I can, but they are all Democrats and they would rescue Terri only if she were an integral part of the Democrat coalition, which she is not.
Since I and many other FReepers like you both, and we're on the same team for Terri, would it be too much to ask you two to quit bickering and just make up already? Pretty please with sugar on top? ;-)
TA, right now might be a good time to share what a politician once told me. He said that Government calculates that for every letter they receive or every Protester they see, there are 500 FIVE HUNDRED MORE who didn't bother to do either of the above. The Protests in Tallahasse are of the UTMOST importance. I still believe that it is Governor Bush who needs to put a stop to this NOW, HIMSELF. He would be acting COMPLETELY within the laws and Statutes of the State of Florida. He swore an Oath to do so! I mean it's pretty bad when a serial murderer or one of our furry friends (cats and dogs)appear to have more Rights and Protections than an innocent girl who has committed NO crime at all.
