I don't trust the Florida courts either
LOL!!!
I keep having to remind myself to breath!!!!
Congress can do hearings and pass bill at the same time
That is why you'll see congresscritters get up and leave a hearing
Because either they have to vote or they have some sort of meeting
That's true, but really I think Felos is a coward.
It's his little mantra now...the court made me do it!!
http://www.baynews9.com/content/36/2005/3/17/74856.html
"The guardian has no discretion," said Felos. "It is not the guardian's decision to do this. It must be done because it is the order of this court."
I should have stated this was meant as sarcasm...
Woohoo
If they didn't vote .. then it was also not defeated
I thought I saw a thread that said the Fl Bill was defeated
US House just adjorned till Monday, March 21st
Ooops .. sorry for not picking it up
Do you have a link to view the votes. Need ASAP. TY!
KEEP HAMMERING THE HOUSE. PRESSURE ON>
Thank you, Mr. President, for your kind words about Terri Schaivo, her life, and those in similar unfortunate circumstances.Thank you, Mr. President, for anything you may be able to do to keep Terri alive.
One last thing, Mr. President, if you have an ear with the Governor of Florida, perhaps you could have him enlist a special prosecutor, as requested by other citizens, to investigate what appears to be great misdeeds performed against Terri Schaivo by Michael Schaivo; his attorney George Felos; Judge Greer's violations of numerous laws while handling this case; Sheriff Rice of Pinellas County, who refused to investigate events concerning the night of Terri's "collapse" but who, instead, employed Michael Schaivo as a nurse and Michael Schaivo's girlfriend's (Jodi Centonze) mother; Judge Greer and George Felos' affiliation with the Hospice where Terris has been "housed;" Medicaid fraud; Terri's broken bones (back, thigh, ankles) which Judge Greer thought was "interesting" but refused to have investigated; and a host of other criminal allegations filed by individuals and groups against Michael Schaivo, Judge Greer, the Hospice, and others.
Thank you, again, Mr. President.
I'm getting lost in the thread...
So if not posted yet....
This is the deal on SB2128------
SB804 was an amendment which was not passed.
According to this article with the google instructor's quotes
http://www.baynews9.com/content/36/2005/3/17/74856.html
That bill was too broad for many senators because it would have affected too many people.
St. Petersburg Senator Jim Sebesta said that's why it was voted down, and voting down the amendment essentially votes down the bill.
"The focus was on the amendment," said Sebesta. "Do we tighten down on the bill that we got from the House of Representatives or not? It was an interesting strategic move. But on a vote, I think it was like 21-17 or something like that, the amendment was defeated. The bill as of right now is pretty much dead."
Sebesta said the effort to create a bill to keep Schiavo alive was created too late to succeed.
Sebesta said there's a remote possibility the bill could be considered again Friday. For that to happen, a senator that voted against the amendment would have to call for a reconsideration, which Sebesta said is highly unlikely.
It was a roll call vote but they don't have posted who voted which way on 804.

Well, let's FReepin pray for Lazzara's change of heart towards Terri! If we can get the Vatican to come down on Lynch, then maybe we still have a shot at winning a few more hearts over! Prayer changes things!
We praise you, God!
I'm looking.....what is the Florida Senate Bill number....can't find it!!

I hope I have this info correct, as I don't always write that fast. I heard it on the radio, on the net. A pro-life friend told me about the radio broadcast.
Calls to action:
Sheriff Jim Cotes - has copy of citizens arrest. His Fax 727-464-3022
Woodside Hospice 727-541-4199 (they have 4 guards outside, 2 guards inside) - leave message about Terri
Hospice V.P. Scott Kistler 727-586-4432 - dont starve Terri; you will be subject to citizen's arrest
E-mails of empolyees at Hospice: ask them not to be a party to this judicial homicide and he said maybe the Holy Spirt will guide them.

SB804 was an amendment but failed

Yep. I have read that Florida is a mirror in regards to how it is set up to the way the Federal Government is set up. So yes it is hogwash if true.
