Amen! I am ready to cry.
President's Statement on Terri Schiavo
The case of Terri Schiavo raises complex issues. Yet in instances like this one, where there are serious questions and substantial doubts, our society, our laws, and our courts should have a presumption in favor of life. Those who live at the mercy of others deserve our special care and concern. It should be our goal as a nation to build a culture of life, where all Americans are valued, welcomed, and protected - and that culture of life must extend to individuals with disabilities.

I like his statement. And it's about time.
Depends how fast the House passes this bill and and motions are submitted to the Fed Court .. I THINK
yes but they should have left it alone!
Well, I've freeped way longer than the doc said I could, but it was worth it.
Gotta go get life support now....
No, the florida supreme court is in Tallahassee. The Federal Court for Tampa Bay is the middle district of Florida in Tampa, Federal Court. I hope it's not Richard Lazzara again. He has a bias against Terri already.
That is a cool statement, especially about living at the mercy of others.
WOW, Sun~~!!!
Everyone needs to get on your Link!!! It's great.

"I believe it can be appealed to a higher court if he knocks it down"
That doesn't give me a lot of confidence!
Jeb better be hanging on to his trump card. When this all plays out, he might still have to take executive action to free her from that hell hole of a hospice.
Does Pres Bush have to sign it now before it is LAW????
Hopefully they'll remember that Rose Kennedy had a feeding tube too.
And how many courts does this country need?! Geeze!
I liked his statement as well!
I hope she's protected for tomorrow. I'm frustrated because I DON'T UNDERSTAND ANYTHING!!! I have a gazillion questions.
I agree!
LOL!!! ME TOO!!!!
Yes, the President I think must sign ALL bills before they become law. But, if that's not completely correct, I know he has to sign this one, because the White House Press Secretary said today that if it's passed, the President will sign it, because this Administration is for the side of life.
take care of yourself!
