This is what is eventually go to happen!
In January 1983, twenty-five-year old Nancy Cruzan lost control of her car as she traveled down a Missouri road. The car overturned, and she was discovered, lying face down in a ditch, without detectable respiratory or cardiac function. Emergency medical technicians were able to restore her breathing and heartbeat, and she was transported to a hospital in an unconscious state. A neurosurgeon there diagnosed her as having sustained probable brain damage, compounded by significant oxygen deprivation. The estimated length of the period without oxygen was twelve to fourteen minutes. (Permanent brain damage generally results after six minutes without oxygen.) Cruzan remained in a coma for approximately three weeks, and then progressed to an unconscious state in which she was able to orally ingest some nutrition. In order to ease feeding and further her recovery, surgeons implanted a feeding and hydration tube with the consent of her then husband. In October 1983, she was admitted to a state hospital. Subsequent rehabilitative efforts proved unsuccessful. It became apparent that she had virtually no chance of regaining her mental faculties, and her parentswho had been appointed as her co guardiansasked the hospital to terminate the medically assisted nutrition and hydration procedures. The hospital refused to honor the request without court approval.
The United States Supreme Court upheld that ruling. It found that due process was not violated by the Missouri requirement that an incompetent person's wishes in regard to the withdrawal of life-sustaining treatment be proved by clear and convincing evidence. In the end, however, further witnesses satisfied Missouri courts that such clear and convincing evidence of her wishes did exist, and medically assisted nutrition and hydration were removed in December of 1990. Cruzan died two weeks later. Missouri now allows health care directives (though not living wills) to instruct that medically assisted nutrition and hydration be removed after a diagnosis of permanent or persistent vegetative state has been made.
Except that it's Jim Caveziel!
Yes, well, we dispensed with some of the myths, and some of the naysayers (you know who I mean). We'll keep knocking them down. I think the euthanasia debate is finally coming to the forefront, thanks to Terri and her family. This is something that should have been being discussed for quite some time. After Karen Ann Quinlan, a lot of us didn't realize that the euthanasiasts kept working while we went back to sleep. Now look where we are. Some people have been fooled into thinking that animals deserve better treatment than humans. Terri is a saint to me, as are those in her family.
I am going to link-up this March dailies thread to many other forum sites, so many new people coming on board can read this thread and see/read the truth. Is it okay to do this ?
Please Lord, let this happen,in Jesus Christ name

Pinging Scoop, phenn, and Ohioan to your Post #88, bizzymom. That doesn't read like equal protection under the law to me. Excellent catch.
Governor Jeb Bush, are you there? Will you allow this travesty to happen on your watch?
Wow! Thanks, bm!
Great idea! I love you tagline, too!
This just came via email:
Please send an email to Amnesty International on behalf of Terri Schindler-Schiavo and ask for their intervention in saving this woman from a death by torture.
Pass this email to get the word out that it is apparent in the state of Florida that they do not value the life of disabled Americans. Time is running out for Terri Schindler-Schiavo as Judge Greer has set a deadline of March 18 to commence starving and dehydrating Terri by the request of her self-serving estranged husband.
Should Terri be tortured to death per the actions of Pinellas County Florida circuit court, this could set a presentence for euthanizing disabled American men, women and children....especially babies who are born with disabilities. As any human being has the will to live, no Earthly court has the right to decide an innocent persons quality of life, whatever the circumstances.
Thank you for reading this and please pass it along.

FV (OFF, if you want to copy this onto your petition thread, it's kind of like a petition).
The money is part of the issue. The rest of it is HINO worrying that if Terri recovers and is able to speak, she will be able to tell what really happened to her, and the rest of the monsters want to promote their "cause" of legalized murder.
Thanks, will-do !

So Greer is going to hear DCF and rule this week on whether to allow the 60 investigation? We'll pray for Greer's heart to soften!
I FAILED TO MENTION BUT THIS NEEDS TO BE POSTED. Terri has NEVER had her own attorney. David Gibbs, Attorney, is her parents' attorney.
TERRI NEVER REPRESENTED BY COUNSEL WHICH IS AGAINST THE LAW. They can order her to be killed but she's never had her own lawyer to say "wait a minute, there, greer. who made you the boss of her?"
