Did you see any other freepers there?
Unfortunately, no. I tried to get together with Freepers beforehand, but no one answered the plea :-D. Poor Eeevil conservative and I spoke by phone about meeting, but she got caught in horrible traffic and I don't think she made it, although she was a the rallys yesterday.
Wish I could be there! You deserve a big bouquet of roses for all you have done to help save Terri, it has not been unnoiticed! Still praying, calling and e-mailing and trusting that the tide has turned for Terri. Thanks by the way for sending us to theempirejournal.com. We just love it and have made it our homepage.
Bill Allen, director of the bioethics program at the University of Florida College of Medicine
But Allen said he is most concerned that lawmakers will use what, at its core, is a gut-wrenching family dispute between loved ones to overturn good laws. Those laws, he said, have for more than a decade allowed Floridians like Terri Schiavo to reject or withdraw artificial hydration and nutrition if they so choose.
Mr. Allen needs to be reminded that people may still choose to have this option as long as they put it in writing in a living will, where informed consent is part of the process. That means you can't coerce someone to sign that form, and that you've explained exactly what the pros and cons of making this decision are before you sign. Hospice workers are coming into the hospitals and homes of ill people even if they aren't dying to try to encourage them to sign these papers.
"The consensus is it's immoral to force medical treatment on people that they didn't want, and there is no reason to treat artificial hydration or sustenance any differently than any other medical treatment," Allen said. "This is not about food and water. This is an attempt for people with one value system to impose their values on the rest of society."
That is the shallowest argument ever. It cuts both ways, Mr. Allen!
I've got to find this guy's address, email, etc. He needs a talking to. I'm getting PO'd.
As I was at the rally for some reason I thought about the three notable trolls on this board who want Terri dead in the worst way. All I can say is, if they're right, baby, I'm glad to be wrong.
Any idea about the size of the crowd?
AND REGARDING LURKERS HERE, if I had a dollar for every time I heard the killers say the "courts have decided", I would have a pile of dough. THE COURTS HAVE DECIDED AND THE COURTS ARE NOT ONLY WRONG, THEY ARE CORRUPTED. Do not let the Courts, push you around, Florida Legislature and Governor Bush.
STAND FOR JUSTICE, NOT WITH THE UNJUST!!!!!
I would estimate a little under a thousand. Not a bad crowd, at all. Wonderful speakers...I have to ask you all to bear with me, I can't give details right now. I'm scrambling to get back. But I do want to give details of the upcoming events so that those who want to attend in the next few days can, or if you just want to hold these events up in your prayers.
Monday, March 14th: 9:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., prayer vigil in the Capitol Plaza. The 7:30 prayer vigil is at the Governor's Mansion and is a candlelight vigil.
Tuesday, March 15th: 9:00 a.m., prayer vigil in Upper Waller Park (which is near Capitol, I'm assuming, since lobbying will take place afterwards). After the prayer vigil, there will be a visitation of every legislator to encourage the passing of the new Terri's Bill.
12:00 p.m., prayer vigil at Upper Waller Park.
2:00 p.m., lobbying to continue.
7:30 p.m. Candlelight vigil at the Governor's Mansion.
If you feel the tug of the Lord to come, don't ignore it. Come. Terri needs you, but it's not only Terri...it's every person in this nation who may one day be in her situation, or who already is. And...this case may just turn the tide on activist judges in this nation.
I reiterate...if you feel the tug of the Spirit, come, and don't hesitate.
(now the idiot local anchor says she's PVS. they almost get it right but have to throw a lie into their report baynews9.com)
Bump

I have seen lately that the EUTHANASIA FORCES have structured peoples' deaths like a PYRAMID SCHEME so they continue to get rich off of people who they helped MURDER.
Let's all e-mail AND call Governor Bush, and ask him to have Forida's Department of Children and Family Services take Terri into protective custody.
There are three branches of government, and they are equal.

Keep bumping!
Done!
PINELLAS COUNTY'S LOVELY TERRI V. THE SIXTH CIRCUIT'S SHAME: GEORGE GREER, a barbarian.
PURE GOODNESS V. 100% EVIL
George Noorey, host of Coast to Coast A.M.is a really decent and kind person and he is very sympathetic to Terri's plight. He's made frequent update messages about it. Although he might be unable to devote a full 3 hours to exposing the abominable forces rallied against Terri, he can certainly accept calls and report news.
Signed and bump!
Re: Post #5714. I tried to sign petition, & filled out red required sections, but it brought me back to a blank form again.
I tried an hour later and the same thing happened.
It's really hard to find freepers unless you wear freeper identifiers like baseball caps or badges or have a huge sign. There were probably many freepers there but in Florida, we don't know what we all look like.
