That is so great! Evil can't stand to be made fun of, which is just what we're doing, in a sarcastic way. The more people that do it, the more questions will be asked and maybe this whole ridiculous "life support" spin will start to come undone.
RE 3741----Greer can and does overrule the law BUT, that is their statutory mandate to conduct such an investigation and there is case law precedent at 2nd DCA that a judge cannot interfere in a legislative mandate---that's legislating from thebench again and violation of separation of powers doctrine---but then we all know that Greer thinks he's above the law
I'll e darned. Guess my question really surprised you then didn't it? probably as much as your answer to me.
I just got off work and scanning. Any news? I called 6 people today. My 2 senators and representatives, You Tom what ever his last name is and Jeb Bush. None of them could tell me how their boss voting. All were very friendly except your governors office. Maybe she's getting tired of my good morning calls or overwhelmed or something. The girl isn't rude but seems to sigh a lot and just says "I'll tell him" in a frustrated(?) way. If it is the same person she used to not be that way. It's not me either. I continue to start out with "I'll really appreciate everything the governor has done"
hehehe
Humor is always the great opener for people to listen.
Of course, I have nothing but the most sincere hopes of happiness for Terri and do realize that what her tormentors are putting her through isn't funny.
Amen!
I pray for Terri a number of times each day.
I got a series of noncommittal answers, "I don't know's", and "I'm sure he's interested's". With Floridians' offices, the phrase "I don't think Florida would want to be known as the home of the Roe v. Wade of forced euthanasia", perks up some ears. I can literally sense it.
BREAKING - just heard on ABC radio news - Judge rules no new tests for Terri - hope more info follows soon.
passing time here...
We talked to my son today for the first time since he left for Africa. he is in the Peace Corps getting trained in Health Education.
He received an assignment and got to visit the village where he will be spending the next 2 years. It was so good to talk with him. He loves the Peace Corps and re-affirmed it was the right thing for him to do.
It was so good to talk with him. I miss him, but he is an adult now, he went to college 4 states away and then spent a semester abroad on a ship and circumnavigated the globe, so he has been away really since he was 19, but this is for 2 years and with the lack of communication, no phones or internet it jsut seems different to me.
Oh yeah he let is slip that he had to bike 70 kilometers to get to his village because there was no transportation. He has already had malaria and has lost 10lbs, but he still LOVES the Peace Corps.
NO, NO, NOOOOOOOOO!
Greer is a Monster!!!!!!!!!
What they are putting her through is not funny, but their arguments for why they "have" to are totally ridiculous! Many freepers have pointed out the circular logic they use, and if a bit of sarcasm can showcase the reality of the spin Terri's tormentors are putting on their argument, and the complicity of the media in furthering that spin, maybe the public outrage will become deafening.
I do think I stumbled across our message
This is the Roe v Wade of Forced Euthanasia
This is going to go in every communication I have from now on.
I heard that on the news too...the balls in the DCF's court now...it's time for them to take Terri into their custody.
What I've been telling my friends in conversation and email is
The Roe v Wade of the 21st Century
Guess we're both thinking along the same line. I've studied WWII a lot and the pics of the concentration camp survivors when the Allies liberated them can't escape my mind. It's abhorrent!
All 6 of them knew about the bill though so they are hearing from people.

Well, I can't find a newswire link yet, but it'll show up.
Back later tonight BUMP
I'm beginning to think you're going 24 hr a day.
Keep up the heat! Just don't burn out in the process, we need your help!
