It sure does seem that way to me, Canadian Outrage. I was very surprised at the few motions from yesterday that Greer ruled in the Schindlers' favor on (appointment of medical witness, provision of Viaticum (but only with the doctor's approval if provided orally), family access after the tube is disconnected, and the so-so decision on allowing pictures for the family (which seems to me was just about as much in Michael Schiavo's favor as it was in the Schindlers).
Isn't it pitiful when you're surprised by a "sort of humane" decision, and not at all surprised that most motions are just flat out denied?
WHY tho is Greer being allowed to get away with such OBVIOUS IN YOUR FACE FRAUD right under the Government's nose? These people in Government have NOT bothered to do their homework. If they have and still agree to this, they are CORRUPT.
The "Emp" is getting downright old skool with these law-breakers and it's about bloody time someone did. The federal Hospice violations, judicial violations, guardianship violations, and on and on. The Emp is calling a spade a spade and no one here can thank you enough. Keep on keeping on. People are starting to listen. 'bout stinking time!
The separation of Powers is meant to be the SAFEGUARD against situations JUST SUCH AS THIS. Yesterday Keyes and Liddy called it JUDICIAL HOMICIDE. They couldn't understand why the Governor hasn't acted by now. Maybe he's more concerned about being impeached himself. So Terri can just die. What I don't think the Governor realizes is that he would actually be a Hero.
Yes wasn't it just so nice of Greer to allow them to take a picture of her before she dies. Excuse me while I PUKE.
he can issue a stay but he cannot overturn a sentence to the best of my memory. He can pardon people for past crime/s.
I'm probably wrong but there is something up with the insistence of having the feeding tube removed. All they have to do is quit feeding her. I wonder if there is a move within the medical or hospice community not to have a patient put on a feeding tube? Me thinks it stinketh.
Whoa mama! What an article! The more you dig, the more dirt there is to dig. Has anyone told you lately that you're good? :)
HOW can we get the Empire Journal information to the RIGHT PEOPLE????
I guess your not going to read the transcript from yesterday.
I think they surgically removed it last time because they were afraid she would be saved and they knew she would have to be taken back to the hospital to have the port reinserted and that is what happened with Felos threatening the doctors with a huge lawsuit.
Exavtly. Of course Jeb Bush can save Terri -- if he wants to.
Exactly. Of course Jeb Bush can save Terri -- if he wants to.
not right this minute but I want to read it
Hit your media lists with links to their articles, the authors contact details and the request that they contact the authors for more info. Tell your locals to google up Terri and see the extraordinary hits the Emp gets. Encourage your locals to make contact with them based on 'numbers' and they will. Trust me.
Well, we're all PO'd. This is the most frustrating case of all time. They've already tried to kill Terri TWICE before by starvation and MANY OTHER TIMES by neglect and abuse. I just can't believe this could happen in our America. Madness! But I truly believe Gibbs is the man of the hour. He's one smart cookie. And I think he's got Greer right where he wants him. Hanging himself. This can't go on much longer.

The noose tightens ... excellent, excellent work.
Sadly, I think Greer KNEW exactly WHO to appoint. Wolfson was the man for the job. Greer knew he would do the courts bidding, in my opinion.
BUMP
