Yeah, in the St. Pete Times article today .. William Levisque quotes Greer as joking that he has been asked to recuse himself four times and that he made the mistake of not recusing himself for the same total of 4 times.

I lurked on FR for several years before I ever posted. I didn't think I'd be able to stand up under the scrutiny of the other posters. I had no idea how they made all the fabulous links and nice graphics. (I still have a lot to learn in that regard). So I was pretty timid about jumping in.

When I first lurked some Terri threads, and then followed the links to terrisfight.org, I was stunned! I thought that there had to be something wrong, because I didn't think our courts would ever do anything this far off base. I made my first comments on a Terri thread. She has not been far from my heart since. I learned everything I could about her and the case. I looked from a lot of different angles, too. I read all the sites that Hildy and others have put up to back up their viewpoints, but those other sites are always missing something very important. It's different for each one of them.

At any rate, I wholeheartedly believe that Terri was brought to my attention because God wanted me to do something with this. I know I can only help a little, but it's like what Mother Teresa said, "You can only do what you can do, and I can only do what I can do, but together we can do a wonderful thing." (or something to that effect).

Lately I have been posting almost exclusively on the Terri threads because there's so much info since the Supreme Court didn't take the case. I'm lucky to read other threads at all, much less take the time to post on them. But I don't mind. My family knows that I'm doing something that I think is every bit as important as staying home and raising my children was when they were younger. God gives us opportunities to work for his Glory every day. I try to take Him up on that as frequently as I can. (Of course, some days are better than others. LOL)

It could be. She said she had a blog, and Drudge graciously said that it wasn't a blog, it was a website.

Drudge also said (wrongly) that there is too much coverage spent on Terri, just as there was on Laci Peterson. I don't think that Drudge realizes Terri not only affects Terri, but could affect every one of us. Drudge needs and "intervention" - someone like Alan Keyes.

I used to think Terri was an isolated case, before I learned differently. Just this morning, I heard a caller on New York State's WABC say that she knew of a woman whose parents starved her to death in Orange County in New York State, and it took 2 weeks.

For the record, I would fight just as hard if Terri WERE an isolated case, as we all would.

You did a GREAT job and are an eloquent speaker. I wish he gave you more time, but when I called about another pro-life issue, I got even less time.

I guess you have to make your most important point in the first couple of sentences, because you never know when they will cut you off. I even find that when I call local talk shows with less callers.

You made great points. Drudge hasn't been all that receptive to Terri's story. When he does have the rare story on drudgereport, it only stays up for a little while. )As opposed to stories about Michael Jackson, which stay up for days.)

The way he cut you off also makes a point -- about him.

I have been working very hard on trying to help Terri.

I get maybe 2-3 hours of sleep-- reading and reasearching, etc...

was just very disappointed to not get more out about TERRI!!!
