I wish the Governor WOULD put a STOP to it NOW. I was thinking today, what a RELIEF it would be to the SCHINDLERS. They have been carrying this BURDEN for 13 YEARS. Just IMAGINING all they have borne is so very painful, what must it be like to actually experience it? And all the SUFFERING that POOR TERRI has had to bear. It could ALL be OVER, TODAY!!!!
I WOULD so LOVE to see a PROTEST in Tallahassee. IT is of the UTMOST importance as you say. IT WILL encourage the Governor to do whatever is needed to save Terri.
Well said, CO!
I still listen to Rush, but sometimes I would prefer to hear the "oldies music" station instead. Rush is getting to be as repetitive as the "oldies" stations too. Rarely does Rush taking surprising stands any more.
Also, has Dr. Laura ever mentioned Terri? I don't know, but she seems very wise even if she sometimes fails to practice her advice in her own life. Her advice seems always biblically and morally based.
Maybe Terri's life is just too unimportant for many of our top commentators.
Apparently, the governor believes he has no grounds to interfere, but the DCF probe is surely on his orders. Why is he reluctant to challenge the courts? Could it really be the fear of impeachment? He could take a lesson on that from Bill Clinton, who told the impeachment manager where to stuff it and DID!!
Rush still has not mentioned, Terri? I was wondering about that. I don't listen as much as I used to.
Clinton was IMPEACHED, however. He was NOT convicted.
What I meant was that Clinton turned the impeachment into a political advantage for himself -- something no one else has ever done to my knowledge. He didn't worry so much about impeachment, for he knew that Dianne Feinstein and Joe Lieberman, for that matter, would hold the Democrat senators in line.
Other than impeachment by the FL House (Republican majority), what could Jeb Bush face if he acted extralegally on Terri's behalf?
I guess you would say that is where I stand too. Sometimes I turn him on , only to turn him right back off again!! Lately I have been enjoying the " oldies" too.I am curious as to why Rush hasn't mentioned Terri. I feel Rush stays to the left on moral issues though!*sigh*
Actually, it doesn't speak well for someone who talks about doing what is " right", and then watches someone die, to save his own throat. Love reaches to help, without regard for ones' well being!!!! Shame on Rush!!!!!!!!!He could really make a difference by speaking out on the issue. Who knows, maybe he thinks Terri should die!!!!!!!!
You make a good point. At any rate, he will have much support if he takes the action necessary to save Terri.
Rush has to have had many requests to speak about it.
I am sure he has been emailed about Terri. I am going to email him again. Perhaps if we apply the pressure on him, he will at least share his feelings?? He is deliberately NOT taking a stand on it.
More and more talkshow hosts have raised the subject of Terri, but not Rush.
Is he still broadcasting from Florida? If so that makes it seemingly even more deliberate.
I'm not sure of where he is broadcasting from now.
TR are you meaning that Gov. Bush might be afraid that the rest of the Florida legislature might Impeach him? I don't really know how they could if he was acting on WELL DEFINED Florida laws and Statutes. IF the legislature also saw hundreds and hundreds of angry folks outside their workplace I doubt they would take that step. After all it's "the people" that put them there and it's "the people" who can take them outta there. No, it's time for a BOLD move.
TR was responding to one of my original points. I think he is saying if true, it is a groundless fear.
What could Jeb B receive? A WHOLE LOT OF PRAISE from a good portion of the Florida citizens I would hope. And besides, impeachment of the Governor, would jeopardize several of the others positions in the next election also.
Okay, I misunderstood that. SORRY TR!!!
It's 10:45pm here now, you guys must be getting tired as it approaches or has just passed Midnight. I'm tired myself. But then I worked all day. I could only post sporadically at work but I'm getting tired now. Sweet Dreams Freeoples!! CO
I agree.
I like Michael Savage more.
He's Pro-Terri and I wish he would talk more about our fight.
