Weston · Sounding more like a future presidential candidate than a losing vice presidential nominee, former North Carolina Senator John Edwards rallied Broward County Democrats Saturday night with a speech that focused on the core beliefs of his party.

Another classic quote...

"We will be looking at what's working, things like raising the minimum wage, expanding the earned income tax credit, and doing something about inner city schools," Edwards said in a news conference before his speech at the Broward County Democratic Party's annual Jefferson-Jackson Dinner.

It'll be fun seeing introduce those bill in the Senate, there, John, er, uh, er, wait a minute...

"a speech that focused on the core beliefs of his party."

So he didn't say anything?

"former North Carolina Senator John Edwards rallied Broward County Democrats Saturday night with a speech that focused on the core beliefs of his party." That should have taken all of three minutes. What did they do with the rest of the time, watch the Oscars?

I'd be hard-pressed to name Democratic core beliefs. Can you?

I think the Breck Girl is popular among S. Florida's gay community. He looks and speaks just like one of them.

There was an article in the Orlando Sentinel yesterday about a local plaintiff's lawyer, John Morgan, who is raising money for the Dems. Apparently, one of his favorites is John Edwards. No surprise there. The article also mentions that Morgan's wife is also a lawyer, but she's a Republican. When Morgan held a party for Ted Kennedy recently, Morgan's wife skipped it.

Sure. Their core beliefs are the murder of unborn children and the elevation of homosexuality as a social benefit.

Victim disarmament.

"She's baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!"

And without that thing on his lip. The Silky Pony got it removed, saying that his doctor thought that it may be cancerous. Why can't I believe him?

I hear No-Bounce Eddie is gearing up to go after the gays, transexuals, and hermaphrodites vote to substantially increase the Dummycrat pervert vote. Eddie is really, really "tolerant and compassionate" of the sexual preference proliferation, and is creating sexually-oriented victim caucuses for the 2008 convention consisting of:

Transgender Caucus (whatever)

Unknown Gender Caucus (AKA heads-or-tails voters)

Necrophiliac Caucus (partners both genders as long as they are deceased)

Date-Rape Caucus (partner must be unconscious - as in Andrew Luster - Max Factor heir)

Inanimate-Object Caucus (partners non-humans such as cigars)

Bestiality Caucus (partners only with pets approved by PETA)

Why is Edwards called the Beck Girl?
I don't like his politics but don't know why he's called that. (just curious)

All Edwards has to do now is learn how to roar like Gore, and libel and slander President Bush at every opportunity.

I'll say this for Mike Dukakis: after GHWB kicked his ass in '88, he didn't go around the country screaming and wailing about Bush-this and Bush-that, he got on with his life.

Never thought I'd say anything complimentary about the (snicker) 'Lil Duke' but there I went and did it.

John Edwards, (AND John F'in Kerry!) should take the damn hint.

If a Democrat can't rouse a crowd in Broward County, Home of the Hanging Chad, then he can't get the clap (applause) anywhere.

He was selected among other things for his hairdo and pretty boy looks. And that got Rush thinking about the "Breck Girl" commercials. And it struck a chord because what comes to mind when you look at John Edwards is he's all looks and no substance.
