Liberals and the Rage of Impotence - (powerful writing)

When Amasis went to bed with her he was unable to have intercourse with her, though he had shown no lack of virility with other women. Astonished the king thus addressed his bride, “Woman, you have certainly bewitched me—now therefore be sure you shall perish more miserably than ever woman perished yet.” Ladice protested her innocence, but in vain; Amasis was not softened.

Herodotus, The Persian Wars, Book II, 181

The day had been hot and that heat lasted long into the night. The window was open to let in what cool air there was. An hour or so after falling asleep I was awakened by the shouting of a man out on the street. I got dressed and went outside to determine the cause of the commotion and what I should do, if anything.

The face of the man who was screaming was blood red, apparently from drinking and from the force of his diatribe. His voice was raw and gravelly and probably wouldn’t last much longer, I thought. He wore a flannel shirt, which was unbuttoned to the top of his potbelly. His chest was also ruddy, not from the shouting but from the frequent, violent slaps he delivered to himself while he raged.

“B----!” he shouted. “You lousy, b----! How dare you do this to me. To me!” He slapped his chest hard. “How dare you do this to me!”

A police cruiser circled the block several times but did not stop. I wondered why the police wouldn’t stop and at least question the man, who appeared deranged and could possibly pose a physical risk to himself or others. Then I realized he was only shouting and that, so far, he was guilty of only being poisoned with a venomous hatred; as yet, he had committed no crime. He had a right to rage, so long as no one called to report him for disturbing the peace.

He paced back and forth in front of an apartment building several blocks away repeating the diatribe, changing it now and then with other invectives, but the message was the same: a woman had either left him, betrayed him, or refused to submit to him, and he realized he was powerless to control her. Thus the only reaction left for him was to abhor her with every ounce of loathing his soul could offer and to vent that hatred publicly.

I sat on the steps to my apartment building and watched him for nearly half an hour. I was amazed that he was able to keep his rage at such a constant boil for so long and wondered what kind of wrong must have been done to him that he would be so filled with hatred. Eventually, I began to see in that hatred the same seed of pathological hatred that the Left in America has for President Bush.

From his own ranting, it was evident that the source of this man’s rage was an inability to control the woman in his life. The source of his rage was impotence.

I was wide awake at this point from the disturbance and from the heat and knew I would not fall back to sleep. So I leaned back against the steps and thought about the man, his rage, and the hatred of the Left and tried to determine its source. After some time, I believe I finally located it.

The source of the hatred is not one of ideological difference. It is above and beyond mere ideology. The source of the hatred is in the spiritual realm. Its seeds are far deeper than ideology and are rooted in the heart of the battle between tyranny and liberty.

For over 30 years the Left has maintained control over the public education system, the media, the entertainment industry, and over the courts. These are four of the six most critical avenues of communication between those who influence, set, and interpret policy and the populace, of the informational input into the mind of the citizen in modern civilization. For over 30 years – one complete generation – the Left has controlled these four avenues of communication. But they have not had complete control over the remaining two avenues of communication: the family and the church.

Of the many complaints leveled against President Bush, nearly all of them can be listed under one of two categories. The first is that he is a cowboy, that he is swaggering around the international community shooting off his six-shooters with no regard for global opinion and without receiving the proper global permission – proper meaning accepted by the Left. In short, he has acted like a strong, traditional father with the instinctive desire to protect his family and the rugged individualism required to act surely and promptly whether that action is popular or not. Part of that cowboy enigma is the traditional notion of masculinity, not the new age masculinity that is best described by the term metrosexual, the type that would only launch a sensitive war against enemies who have slaughtered tens of thousands of innocents in a long-established campaign to bring the world under their sword. The Left has fought a tenacious battle to destroy the traditional role and character of the father, to demonize the concept of the patriarch, and to subvert the notion of masculinity. In short, they have sought to replace strength with timidity and the rugged individual with the docile, consensus-seeking group.

The second category of complaint is that the President is a theocrat, worse that he is a conservative Christian. This complaint traces back to the 2000 debates when he dared to utter the name of Jesus as the individual who had the most profound influence over his life. To the Left, who tends to attack the free exercise of religion viciously, that is heresy. Part and parcel of Leftism is the worship of the State as the source of providence, and they cannot tolerate the populace worshipping a God they can neither see nor control. If they do permit religion, it is of the watered-down, generic world-god type in which no particular religion can be discerned.

For 30 years they have controlled four of the six most critical avenues of communication, of the ideas and information presented to the minds of the American citizen that enable each to form opinion and belief. As a result, America twice elected a symbol of all that coercive power of the Left. America elected the draft-dodging, sit-in protesting, and marijuana smoking hippie that sought to undermine the establishment and who was the living idol of the Left who had conquered the establishment. America had twice expressed that they had submitted to the Left.

The pathological hatred for President Bush is not against him as an individual. He is merely a scapegoat, the Biblical use of which was to laden it symbolically with all the guilt and sin of a city and then lead it by one unknown man to another until it simply disappeared into the wilderness, thus taking the sin and guilt and weakness of its inhabitants with it.

That America dared to vote George W. Bush into office (before the resurrection of patriotism and the duty of national and personal defense that resulted from 9/11) served as prima facie evidence that the Left had been impotent in undermining the propagation of traditional American ideals and values. It also presented them with the threat that they may never be able to control completely any of the avenues of communication so long as the traditional family structure and the church remain intact.

For it is through these two avenues of communication that the most powerful ideals of individual and national character are disseminated. It is in that fertile soil that the seeds are planted and nurtured and blossom into belief and conviction worth defending. And it is these two bloodlines, facilitated through economic and personal liberty, that have made America the great nation she is and one of the most steadfast defenders of good in the ongoing battle between good and evil, between tyranny and liberty.

No, the rage that the American and international Left has for President Bush is not for him as an individual but for the American people who still have love of country, love of family, and who love their God and seek His providence and not that of the State.

The current rage is alarming, but it is also a blessing in disguise. For in it we are able to glimpse into the heart of the slavemaster that would rule us all should the Left win, should they control all six avenues of communication. We are witnessing the rage of their impotence after only one generation, as a result of but two avenues of communication remaining beyond their control.

If they ever were to succeed in implementing their tyranny, we are witnessing, prophetically, only a portion of the rage and vengeance they would unleash upon the populace should we dare not to submit to their desires.

Excellent article, and important read. Expect far more of the same as the bloggers and FR destroys their hold on the media.  With a little luck, we should be able to loosen their hold in the judiciary too.

If you've ever wondered why the left is so vehemently opposed to school vouchers, it's because the idea of losing their stranglehold on the ability to brainwash children who's parents have no choice but to send them to liberal/government schools would be eroded.

"Man can be perfected by his own effort." A blasphemous concept that lives in the demented heart of the "all power to us" thug left.

"The source of the hatred is in the spiritual realm."

This is the first time I have found someone who understood the real root cause of the democrats' hatred.

In the fracas after the election in 2000, I was praying and I ask GOD to show me what was going on - the scripture I was shown was Matt 12:29 - "Before you can enter into the strong man's house and spoil his goods, first you must bind the strong man."

The strong man is evil itself - and in order to spoil the goods of the strong man, you first have to bind the strong man. What that means is that you have to pray and set your heart in agreement with GOD, by finding out what GOD wants you to do. If you don't, you won't win the battle.

When Bush said he was going to his ranch to wait it out, everybody thought he was going into hiding (ditzy media). But .. I knew from reading "A Charge to Keep", that Bush went to the ranch to pray. I believed right then that GOD had told the President the very same thing HE had told me - pray. So I joined the President in prayer.

When Bush came out from his time of prayer, his countenance had changed - to me he appeared to even have this glow about his face. One look at him and I knew immediately that Bush was going to win the election and that GOD was going to do it. And .. Bush knew it too.

This is why the democrats rage is so deeply felt - it's a spiritual thing and THEY KNOW IT! It's part of the reason why the attacks upon Christianity have increased so much.

This article is dynamite and I haven't even finished reading it.

For in it we are able to glimpse into the heart of the slavemaster that would rule us all should the Left win,

First they would disarm everyone, then send certain ones to 're-education' camps. Failure to 'get-your-mind-right' would mean a train trip to a desert somewhere.

The only entertainment would be re-runs of Rosie O'donnel's crapshow and Janeene Garafalo(sp?)stand-up routines causing those still sane to impale themselves on the nearest metal fence post available. "Dr. Kervorkian to the white courtesy telephone!"

This quote embodies my perception of the seemingly irrational actions and rhetoric of the Left. Outstanding article! Thank you for posting it!

Actually, it's a view of what will happen to the world when the church leaves the earth in the rapture.

It will be left with only the LEFT to rule it. I'm sure glad I will not be here to see it or live it.

I would further add that to liberals, Bush also really epitomizes the church and family. Their hatred is really illogical as Bush has not done a darn thing to them. Probably the nicest president to his opponents in a long time.

I'm not exactly sure what a metrosexual man is... something urban and somewhat feminine? But I love the idea of a "sensitive war." It seems that the male image is headed for a makeover and you see enough of the soft middle aged types in TV commercials, usually driving big cars or SUVs -- but they seem totally incompetent or ineffective compared to their wives. I wonder what did they do to to afford such expensive vehicles, was it all just a$$ kissing, knowing how to flatter and say "yes" at key times? I guess the public is suppose to laugh at these men, knowing that the women in the passenger seat are really in charge. But what kind of message is being sent to the kids on parental stereotypes? "Go along, Dad" The consensus group in the car is usually there to gang up on the dad to make him look ridiculous. I'm sure there are men naturally like this -- soft and futile -- but is it the norm now and should it be held up as worthy of imitation (assuming the left wants men to be like this). Maybe men are suppose to come closer to their feminine side (manicured nails and gay makeovers) and the gays are coming closer to the traditional family (gay marriages). Maybe the progressive liberal ethic is "we all one under the same skin" and the only barrier to a collective peaceful utopia is the family and religion. If the liberals can weaken the concepts of family and religion (through gay marriages and discriminating against religion and its role models for men and women) they believe there will be peace on earth (only sensitive men going to sensitive wars fought through consensus groups). This seems to be the message put out through the other four sources of communication that are, according to the article, controlled by the liberals. It is ironic that the liberal attempt at "world peace" can generate such hatred from themselves... In other words, is it really world peace they want or just another form of totalitarian mind control? I suspect the latter. If the liberals really want to be progressive... get rid of their own hatred first.
