TOKYO - Former President Clinton said Sunday that his wife, Hillary, would be an excellent choice as the first female leader of the world’s most powerful nation.
In an interview with Japan’s TV Asahi, Clinton said he did not know whether his wife, the senator of New York state, has any plans to one day run for the presidency.
“I don’t know if she’ll run or not,” he told the network, but added, “She would make an excellent president, and I would always try to help her.”
Separately on Sunday, Sen. Joseph Biden said Senator Clinton would be incredibly difficult to beat if she decides to run for president.
Clinton has said she plans to run for re-election as New York senator in 2006. Speculation has periodically surfaced, however, that the 57-year-old former first lady may have her sights set for the presidency in 2008.
Results from a U.S. poll released last week showed that six in 10 American voters believe the United States is ready for a female president.

We know where she stands on abortion. She has stated she wants to take a stronger position against illegal immigration. If she can up with a few good social security/medicare scams to please the geezer crowd, she might be a shoo in.

A lousy wife from a real man's perspective, but Hill and Bill are perfect for each other, and each has used the other for their own needs.
A prez. is supposed to be on our side. She wasn't during her first 8 years, why expect her to be now? WAKE UP FOLKS SHE WAS PREZ. FOR 8 YEARS.

Can anyone imagine Hillary as Commander In Chief of the American military? How long would it take her to tuck her tail and run away from the fight to democratize the Middle East? War isn't her strong point.
George Bush is going to be a tough act to follow, and Hillary doesn't have the cajones to make the cut.

I agree that she would be a disaster.
Not only would bill be back in the White House around more interns but you can bet people close to them will start dieing again.
More suicides and plane crashes and directed investigations that go nowhere.

I will not be a bit surprised if Bill dies sometime in late 2007. That way Hillary could run as the grieving widow.
