RackForce Wholesale Hosting Solutions, an Internet company in Kelowna, B.C., has removed six sites from its computers that promoted jihad and vilified Jews. One of the websites, www.shareeah.org, had connections to Hamas, the Palestinian terrorist organization and was being investigated by the RCMP. Operated by Abu Hamza Al-Misri, a terrorism suspect in prison in Britain and waiting deportation to the United States, the site promoted and supported suicide bombing.
Once the company determined it violated its acceptable use policy, RackForce decided to remove it along with five other sites a European re-seller had placed with it, said Randall Robinson, the company’s web service manager.
RackForce sold the server space through the reseller and was not aware of their contents until they were brought to its attention, Robinson said. The other sites that were removed were www.islaam-online.net, www.jewstoislam.com, www.worldofislam.us, www.newsuncovered.org and www.al-thabaat.com.
“Most of the sites were terrorist-oriented,” said Leo Adler, director of national affairs for the Simon Wiesenthal Centre. “One of the sites extolled the virtues of suicide bombing.”
Robinson said an American terrorism-monitoring organization, the SITE Institute, first brought shareeah.org to its attention and the Wiesenthal Centre identified the other websites. He said that even though they had lost their Canadian host, they were back, up and running on a server in Chicago.
“That fact suggests they’ve been bouncing this around for a long period of time,” he said.
Adler said while Canadian companies are generally co-operative in removing these kinds of sites, there are numerous options available for terror groups outside the country. “I urge the Canadian government to lead the way to evolve an international effort to stop terror sites,” he said.
“The problem with the Internet is precisely its biggest advantage. It’s free, easily accessible and virtually unregulated. With all those wonderful things, that aspect allows terrorist and hate groups to prosper,” Adler stated.
Robinson said it is extremely difficult to monitor and regulate content on the web. “Better to allow this to pop up in Canada so the RCMP and CSIS (the Canadian Security Intelligence Service) can gather information.” It would be more difficult to monitor these sites if they were placed on computers in places like Asia, he added.
RackForce has about 80,000 websites on its servers.

TORONTO, Feb. 14 /CNW/ - Six Internet Hate sites in possible violation of
the Criminal Code and/or sections of the Canadian Human Rights Act have been
pulled, based on an alert from Toronto-based Friends of Simon Wiesenthal
Center.
Leo Adler, National Affairs Director, who was recently named a member to
the Federal Cross-Cultural Roundtable On Security said, "Our Center regularly
monitors websites and advises servers about sites that appear to breach
Canada's hate and / or anti-terrorist legislation.
"Earlier this week we identified six sites operating from the Rack Force
server in Kelowna, BC which have now been taken down," added Adler.

- The Shareeah site headed by Abu Hamza Al-Misri, who is now imprisoned
and awaiting deportation to the U.S. under its "Terrorism Act". The
site itself promotes and celebrates suicide bombers and gives full
moral and religious support to suicide bombings.
- The islaam-online site is an extensive Islamic site which includes
"fat was" or religious rulings advocating "Jihaads" and extolling
al-Qaeda (clearly a terrorist group).
- Jewstoislam is a site that completely denigrates the Jewish religion
and includes articles such as "Rabbi Sucking Blood from a Babies
Penis".
- The Worldofislam site has links to various known terrorist and
terrorist supporting websites such as JihadUnspun - a known Bin Laden
supporter, Aztlan - a viciously antisemitic website, Hamasonline -
banned in Canada, Al-Manar TV - banned in many countries and
Hezbollah - also banned in Canada.
- Newsuncovered fashions itself as a legitimate news online
publication, but many of its articles are clearly aimed at reviving
and revamping stereotypical antisemitic myths.
- While the al-thabaat site is still under construction, its main page
carries a flag with the inscription "There is no other God but
Allah", which is also known to be used by various terrorist groups,
such as Hizbut Tahrir.

is always to be tolerated, no matter how distasteful the contents may be, while

What might be our biggest ally in this war is the complete utter stupidity of the muzzies.
Or, we can just prevent Muslims from becoming Jihadists by removing the source of the terrorist recruitment, funding, indoctrination, ... the terrorist websites.
Or, we can wait until the Jihadists remove us from the earth....

It is wishful thinking that we could apply the same policy to our own borders.
It's just amazing the smart ones can be taking in by this foolishness. The clerics include some of less than Rhodes Scholar intelect, obviously.
Western European countries are slowly waking up to the dangers of radical Islam. Somebody posted a good article today on FR about how Holland has had enough and is finally doing something about it. Hopefully the rest of the west will follow suit sooner rather than later.
