To: yer gonna put yer eye out

Forgive me. I was referring to the 'special scrutiny' that only kids, grandmothers, and buxom ladies are subjected to. It is still frowned upon to single out Middle Eastern men.

Just because the fools that are doing 'security' and running the TSA are running in circles and targeting the wrong people does not mean that they are busy or effective.

Did you read my ealier post where I breached a heavily guarded federal 'intallation' just by saying that I didn't have ID? They just let me in and I could have taken any weapon in with me that I wanted to if my purpose was to cause mayhem. And I'm not a bad guy looking to cause trouble. I'm just a common sense guy that saw huge holes in so called security after observing them for about 5 minutes. BTW, even when I showed them ID, they didn't even bother to see if the picture matched the person handing them the card. They just looked at the card.

Like a said before, this is a terribly expensive and useless exercise in making sheep feel safe.

No unfortunately I didn't see the post you mentioned.
But I think that there is a vast gulf between, let's say, having a regulation in place, and being able to monitor each and every person given the authority to implement that regulation.
I think sometimes we forget that we live an imperfect existence, in an imperfect world, ruled by flawed laws...
We're never going to be able to address every perceived wrong...we don't have the time or inclination.
We can only do our best. That's what people like this man who the article is about don't seem to grasp. As I've said before...It's all about him...
