Not enough material to work with. The reason National Review only does them once in a while is because there is only one worth reviewing once in a while.
I have no interest in trying to get you banned, just don't like to see any prejudice shown towards Christians.
Here's a more secular site that rates movies. Waffle Movies.com
Subtle Bush Bashing is taking place in cartoons, sitcoms and late night drawa shows. It makes me sick to where TV for me is almost non-existent other than select sports.
Reality TV needs it's own channel so I can program it out of my favorites list.
I have started checking out a lot of horror movies lately because there is hardly anything of "new release" material
worth watching.
I finished watching SAW last night. What a twisted movie...
I now find myself excited about the new Kojak series upcoming on the USA channel (Friday nights I think) with Ving Rhames. It looks promising.
"I guess when I walk into a video store I feel like I am walking off a plane and getting into a cab in France."
Have you looked into Netflix? I use their service and I LOVE it! You'll never have to set foot in a video store ever again. Maybe you and your wife could each have accounts? If she's a liberal, she'll be tempted to go into your queue, re-arranging your choices or cancel out your conservative picks, LOL! (The only reason I know this is that my DH leans a little to the left, and he puts the WORST movies in our queue. They don't last long...)
DVDs only, so you may have to upgrade, but it's well worth it.

I made the assumption that anyone posting a link to a review site when the topic was Conservative Movie Review sites was posting links to such sites. Seeing as how you didn't denote the site you linked to as being different it was a safe assumption to make that you where trying to pass it off as a conservative review site.
And I have seen a lot of prejudice on this site between Christians because of movies like Harry Potter. Sometimes we can be our own worst enemy.
Why not get the Admins to create a category. If we always post using a given format and that category we can have all of what you're talking about here, with the added benefit that folks can comment on the review and give further insight.
They could set up a fairly simple search query that would let us look up films, again so long as we use a common format for the reviews.
How about it?
I saved the link to Decent Films.com when someone posted it here at FR last year. Don't know if it the poster was a fundamentalist Christian but didn't believe that the poster was trying to pass it off as anything but what it is, a conservative movie review site.
You'll find that there are many conservative fundamentalist Christians that post here. Get used to it.
That sounds like a great idea. We could have our own movie review site.
It never works. Problem is that ideology is no sign of quality. Ideologically based movie reviews always wind up giving favorable reviews of mediocre films with the desired ideology, and trashing truly good films that run against the grain. Doesn't take long before all credibility is gone.
A bit late to share that gem with a guy who's already married don't you think?
The Shrek II pieces you mentioned are exactly what I was taking about in my previous post when I said ideologically based reviews wind up losing credibility.
I checked your link out and lost all respect when it gave "Hotel Rawanda" an average moral rating. Talk about nitpicking. This film was about the highest morality there is in creation.
Very well said, and I applaud your respect for marriage.
I'm also married to a woman more liberal than myself. It will be 14 years this june. I would give you just this one piece of advice. Realize when you're picking just to be picking, and stop.
Now that's what I call a conservative value, dump your wife...not.
Unnngh, It was a JOKE!
Mea culpa then. I didn't recognize it as a joke.
Are the reviews going to be made by the same dolts who found problems with Shrek2, Million Dollar baby, Spongebob, etc... What exactly are they going to be reviewing.....old "Little House on the Prarie" episodes?
