Not sure what or who you mean by obsessing with certain sins? This issue has come up because of this article which covers Keyes faith and his public positions on homosexuality and now it has become personal for him in a lot of ways.
All these armchair quarterbacks seem to want to tar and feather him for how he has decided to deal with it. Discerning Christians however understand how he may have come to this decision.
No one size fits all, everyone would have to come to terms on the best way to deal with a homosexual sibling, there are a lot of things that would have to be considered. But once Maya decided to come out to the world and proclaim her mockery of God's Holy Word then Keyes had no choice but to proclaim her null and void in his life.
That's not true. Life is full of choices. He made one. There are others.
No one here is qualified to judge his actions right or wrong. But there are other choices, and I personally would have made a different one.
