In fact, I can't seem to put my finger on direct quote by Jesus where he addresses the particular sin of homosexuality. Maybe you can refresh my memory.

Jesus didn't need to directly address the sin of homosexuality because it is addressed in other places in Scripture. Jesus did address sin, of which homosexuality is an abomination to God because it is un-natural and grossly distorts the metaphoric picture of the marriage between husband and wife that represents the marriage of Christ and His Bride the Church.

Jesus didn't directly address a lot, He didn't have to, but that does not mean it's permissable.
