What's wrong with the small guys getting their own awards ceremony? Ok, so these guys are paid huge salaries and benefits to do a job. But so is the Hollywood crowd. These politicians just got caught up in Oscar week. Give them a break. This is their 15 minutes of fame.

Give them a break. This is their 15 minutes of fame. It's supposed to be a press conference, not a circle jerk. They can get their 15 minutes on their own damn time.

I understand their motive and those familiar with my posts know I am loathe to start criticizing our officials, but there is an unseemly air to this event.
I honestly thought some information about the man arrested would be provided and the circumstances that led to the arrest.
Hang on...CNN went back and that's what is finally being given.

Surely you know that, what with inflation and all, the "15 minutes of fame" has been discounted to 8 minutes, except on Greta, of course. This presser has been on for approx. 50 minutes, not one mention of the perp. It's embarrassing!

They shouldn't be up there looking like a bunch of crowing roosters if they aren't going to provide us with any suitable information.
You can bet they are just pumping themselves up.
