Authorities scheduled a news conferece for 11AM Eastern Saturday to make an announcement in the case, and relatives of the killers victims would be briefed beforehand.
Some police sources have said that a 59 year old man was arrested Friday and linked to the case by a DNA sample.

Holy crap, they just said on the radio that this guy worked for ADT at some point. That's comforting.
The police have not revealed anything..even his name! This will mean a lot of rumor and gossip getting out there.
Of course his picture and name are known and published.
Am sure her father looked good on a web sight too! Is there any information on the wife? Wonder if the mother and daughter figured it out....The daughter would share DNA, the wife wouldn't. But she might convince the daughter to come forward.
There would be alleles (sp?) (DNA) in common with any DNA they might have from BTK.
ADT?
Didn't this guy start communicating with the press recently and that's what got it started?
If so, sounds like he wanted to get caught or was bored.
Rader probably 'moved on' to playing with his stray doggies at the animal control dept. for those missing 15+ years..
Yeah, he actually sent some evidence from one of the victems to them.....Maybe: Catch me, please.....Before I strike again!
"Home security system" company!! That's lovely...
A camera caught his car and licence plate number, leading to the traffic stop.
Sounds more like blind luck than great detective work to me..
I find it interesting Drudge doesn't have a thing on this yet... Unless he only comes on in the late afternoon Sunday to shoot some "breaking news" sirens that turn into squat rather fast. Still suprises me, though...
Cliff Van Zandt says he doesn't buy "wanted to get caught"..He could have just turned himself in..He blames it on the narcissistic need for attention, power..and he used to taunt the police..
I believe he took courses in law enforcement in college..read it yesterday.
He may have had some big stress in his life that got him communicating for attention again.
Arrrgggg....
They're playing the news conference again...
Fox said she may have donated DNA which would have given them a strong match with the killer.
If she went to the police -- and handed them the killer -- these clowns ought to have worn paper bags over their heads at that "news conference."
Millions of us turned on the tv to see a Chamber of Commerce-Rotary-Kiwanis gathering of Babbitts.
thanks for the link.
She sounds like a pretty good kid who will need a bunch of support.
Because it was so jam packed with infomation, once wasn't enough.
And the award for most imcompetent local police dept. gies to--it's a tie!! Chief Moose and Wichita PD
The press will interview everyone who can talk, including the janitor at the lab, if possible..We will get information..some of it meaningless, some of it wrong.
