That was a totally unnecessary press conference. Wanting accolades for a capture that took 30 years. Sheesh.
They just vote them into office and cheer them on once they're there.
Ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner.
I find it embarrassing and I live a mile from Kansas!
Yep, they're stringing us along.
So, what's everyone having for lunch?
Maybe I should get in the shower...
And why? They can go on all day and they won't be able to bury the lead which is who this guy is and all that.Is there some reason they would be embarassed by who or what he is?Besides a killer who eluded them for 30 years?
maybe we all should:)
CNN now notes a press conference of almost an hour...and no real information given
If this guy has been a suspect from long ago why havn't they gotten a dna sample from him a lot earlier.
I know investigators can collect items from of a person's garbage or they can be put under surveillance and collect a discarded cigarette or coffee cup from a person without them knowing. I forget what they call it but I've seen it on forensic files many times.
Also I've read that there was a murder two doors down from this guy, so why wasn't he on the radar screen a lot sooner or why havn't they made a connection between him and many of the murder victims.
My neighbors can probably hear me screaming at these morons now... They've spent an hour thanking people.
Disgusting.
Finally...
"We would also like to thank the Dog Catcher from...oh wait...your the suspect."
yeah. he's a city employee
that's somewhat embarassing.
I think they will likely not release a damn thing. This is useless.
They have not filed charges......WTH?
IF that's their intent, it's not working. The networks are cutting away and at this point ignoring all the back slapping.
Ooohhh questions.... lets see how many we cant comment on ongoing investigations
These people aren't idiots. They know that if they began the conference with "We caught BTK. This is his name and here's how we did it", that the networks would dump out as soon as they started back-patting and being the petty douches that they are.
