When Eisenhower visted the liberated camps, he insisted that pictures be taken, because he said that in 50 years, some people would claim this atrocity never happened. In addition, he forced German people who lived near the camps to see the dead bodies, and bury them. He instinctively knew that even the Holocaust could be used by Jewhaters.

That being said, I detest laws that say you cannot even ask questions about an historical event under penalty of law.

The Holocaust is one of the most investigated and documented events in history. Holocaust deniers and "revisionists" are not about history, they are about Jewhating and Hitler apologia, in essence defending and perhaps even reviving German National Socialism.

And if you look into the histories of these crazies, you will find they have long histories as con men.

There are good reasons for the laws in Canada under which Zundel was jailed. He broke them, now he pays. Boo hoo.

I understand your desire to jail deniers and revisionists. Where should it stop? Where will it stop?

Canada also wants to jail those who would read or speak certain bible passages(old test.) because it constitutes hate speech against homosexuals. Where should this stop or are these laws for a very good reason?
