That's one of the coolest Roadkill pics i've seen. I've never seen anyone pose with roadkill before :)
I always see about 3 or 4 dead deer on my way home on a good day of deer bumper hunting. I am starting to be able to tell which get hit at fast speed vs slow speed vehicle, but watchout OJ, the Big semis leave a bigger mess than you did, but it's just a deer.

I've seen cas in the wild, I even saw a small one in my backyard about ten years ago.

But I never saw one really up close. When I hit her, it was just the right side of her head on the very low rounded part of my bumper. Didn't even dent the bumper. I was shakin like a leaf, drove about 3/4 of a mile, stopped, settled down for a minute, and drove back.

She was lying on the yellow line un the center of the road, already lost about a quart of blood, deader than a doornail. I dragged her off to the side and a couple guys stopped and one took a picture of me.

That cat had huge feet and 3 inch claws.

There was a MA highway supervisor that had a "road kill" effigy. He'd throw it out the truck in the
latter part of the day.

Calls would come in about a dead animal, so he'd get his crew together to go "clean it up", and wouldn't
you know it, it always past the shift, so everybody just "had" to put in overtime.
