Sharon knows what he's doing. The plan all along has been to be sincere about withdrawing from the West Bank and Gaza Strip, knowing full well that the death-crazed Palestinians would wreck the plan with their violence, and thereby justify the Israeli cancellation of withdrawal plans from the areas that Israel actually needs.
