I'm wondering if the relaxed attitude toward "Palestine" and removing Israeli settlements is to keep the "Palestinians" (Arabs stuck between Israel and Jordan) quiet for a spell. Now Israel has a free hand to smack Hizbullah (Iran and its nuclear assets) with little to restrain its counter strike.
