Why, in the false concept of helping her, are we preventing her from being with God and in Heaven today?
We are not helping her physical body in any way. But spiritually, we are causing her harm.<
This is pretty illogical. Won't we all be better off in Heaven? Does this then mean some "kind" person should sew our mouths shut, and deprive us of food and water so we can be "let go"?
Do you suggest we round up all the disabled people in this country, in Terri's shape, and "send them to heaven, where they are better off"???
Have you ever seen a person who has been dehydrated and starved? Do you have a clue what this does to a person, and how cruel it is? Do you realize how long it takes to kill a healthy, young person like Terri?

She's in PRISON don't you understand. There are ARMED GUARDS preventing even her parents from entering to see her. This is CRIMINAL. Good! Then you should be firmly on the side of those of us who don't want her to be offed before she gets the chance to have that much needed therapy, the therapy her husband promised to give her, but refused once her rehab money was in the bank.

I doubt it, because then Terri would have stipulated in writing and had it notarized exactly what she would have wanted. Since she didn't, and she isn't comatose, and her family has expressed their desire to care for her, then she should be allowed to live.
That's kind of strange isn't it? A liquified cerebral cortex ( another lie), but she still has 75% of her brain left. Yeah, that makes sense doesn't it Deo?
I don't know who these people are on these threads who have somehow been given access to brain scans of her cerebral cortex.
They must all be neurologists, to be able to interpret what they have seen.
I didn't know Terri had so many doctors working on her case.
I thought that doctors were prohibited from visiting and examining her.
But what do I know?
Have you actually seen people who were so brain damaged that they were called PVS? We had a boy in our town who drown in a pool. When they 'saved' him, many considered him PVS. He was unresponsive. It took years of therapy, and I had the blessing of helping him, but only for a short while. That was about 5 years after 'the accident' and he was still trying to learn to talk and crawl. Therapy for brain damage takes a LONG TIME. Terri needs and deserves more therapy time.
I'm wondering what kind of woman takes up with a man like this in this situation and bears 2 of his children. She has to be human vermin also and already brain dead if she doesn't think that he will cheat on her or dispose of her when she becomes inconvenient.

As far as I know the Catholic Church takes a very firm stand on issues like this. They are totally and consistently pro-life... against the killing of the unborn, against the death penalty, and against euthanasia.
IMO this doesn't even come close to euthanasia, this is murder pure and simple.
Legally, since there is no living will, and no medical power of attorney , the husband, because his motives are suspect, and has someting to gain financially and personally from Terri's death cannot be allowed to be the person to make medical decisions in her stead.
It is the fault of the Court that it did not appoint a guardian ad litum years ago to protect Terri's best interest from a man who obviously has ulterior motives in wanting her dead.

Hospice provides wonderful care for terminally ill patients and their families.
Most medical insurance and Medicare for those over 65 will pay for Hospice in full if the patient's doctor states they have six months or less to live.
Since Terri is not terminally ill, I don't know what her situation is, nor why or how she was placed in a Hospice situation.
Will DCF do anything?
Reminds me of an old saying -- "when he falls in the toilet always comes out smelling like a rose"! Something to that effect.
Maybe we need to look at the big picture:
