Evidence has been found that 5th Columinst Ward Churchill copied a painting by reknown artist Thomas E. Mails
Churchill's Serigraph is a mirror image of the Miles painting.
Churchill made the serigraph in question in 1981 and called it "Winter Attack." He printed 150 copies and sold one of them to Duke Prentup for about $100.
On Video, confronting Churchill about the obvious copyright violation by CBS4 Reporter Raj Chohan, Churchill then attacked the cameraman filming the incident.

Also, Churchill claims he earned a Bachelors Degree and a Master Degree at the Sangamon State University in Illinois (where 5th Columinst were created) but school officials cannot locate his Master's Thesis. Colorado University regents expressed concerns that a person be appointed professor without a doctorate.

Which is why I can't figure out why the dems aren't embracing him publicly--he's their Howard Dean in the halls of higher learning.
no wonder he is such a hero to the leftist liberals
AGREED. My alma mater got Howard Zinn to appear and speak at the beginning of Operation Iraqi Freedom. You should have seen how the history/govt profs fawned over the guy. It was sickening. I have told the University that I'll withhold all alumni donations until they get someone from the opposite end of the spectrum (hannity, elder, medved, ingraham, et al) as a counterpoint.
Churchill was born to Jack LeRoy Churchill and Maralyn Lucretia Allen in Urbana, Ill., in 1947 and named after his grandfather. His mother and father were divorced when he was 1 1/2, at a time when divorce was highly stigmatized.
He felt that stigma, according to one of his high school friends, buddying up with someone who also came from a split home. He was raised by his mother and stepfather along with a number of stepbrothers and stepsisters.
He was known as "Wardo" in high school, where he struck a clean-cut pose as a student-athlete and letterman at Elmwood Community High School in Elmwood, Ill., a town of 2,100 people 25 miles west of Peoria, where he had lived since he was a small boy. He also was known as Ward Debo for a time in high school, taking his stepfather's name. He graduated in 1965 in a class of 55 students.
Some high school classmates recall that Churchill had mentioned having Indian heritage in the 1960s. U.S. census records from 1950 document no Indians in Elmwood. In 1960, two people in the town identified themselves as "other," but no one claimed to be Indian. Surrounding Peoria County listed 21 people that year as Indian.

because they know that a public embrace of the guy would mean the end of their political careers.
Interesting- wonder how long it will take for them to invite one of them. Don't hold your breath.
Watch the video at the link. He clearly assaults the camera man, goes into his office (likely to call his lawyer) then comes out with his canned respopnse. I hope he gets his ass sued off. And then gets fired from CU for plagiarism.
I know; it's a rhetorical question.
He also was known as Ward Debo for a time in high school, taking his stepfather's name.
Bwahahahahaaa!! This loser just keeps steppin' in it!!
Bu Bye Ward.
This guy is the classic "cultural and linguistic entrepreneur", unburdened by even rudimentary honesty and fueled by the most perverted ambitions. He certainly has found a home in the margins of academia. He's what real Native Americans call a "wannabe", a lower form of life which they occasionally tolerate but secretly (or not) despise; a "Cherohonkie", as a Native American author wrote "one of the 10 million assholes who claim their great grandmother was half Cherokee." Quite frankly, the guy is a "schmuck" of biblical proportions. What a disgrace to a great name (if that really turns out to be his name).
That's hilarious, 2bananner! This Ward is a caricature of himself.
What's next--pictures of Ward and his 'ceremonial chicken' in a compromising position?
What a silly thing to do. Did he really think nobody would ever catch him in this obvious infringement?
Save your pity for the hundreds (thousands?) of young minds the creep has polluted over the years.
