If it were the 1960's, the girl would not be wearing such clothing as she is in the photo.

Great observation. The mohair sweater was very popular in the 60's. I haven't seen one of those in years. But the sneakers look modern.

Well, during the 60's the vast majority of the masses were wearing Mao "Blues and Greys", as for the shoes....lol..I still see people wearing tradition slippers over here everyday.

The saddest thing I've see was a man walking down the street in trashed flip-flops with trashbags wrapped around him in 36F temperatures because he simply didn't have anything else.

In poor countries they wear what they can get. This is usually provided at the generosity of some charitable organisation. Even though China produces clothes. Their slaves would not likely be able to afford the latest or most modern.
