The Guckert affair(Letter to editor praising cartoon as uncovering the truth-LEFTWING NUTJOB ALERT)

The Guckert affair

I would like to thank Rob Rogers and the editors of the Post-Gazette for printing a reference to the James Guckert/Jeff Gannon affair (Feb. 22 editorial cartoon). A scandal involving a gay prostitute having free access to the White House pressroom would have been all over the media if this were 1995 instead of 2005.

The printing of this cartoon gives me hope that real journalists are trying to uncover the truth in this sordid affair. Please stay on this story. The American people deserve to know the truth about the shenanigans this administration pulls on an uninformed citizenry. We are counting on you!

This letter is further proof of how batty the lefties are. They think this is bigger than monica and will bring W down!

I like how this letter writer equates a cartoonist as a "real journalist"...This is how desperate they are, and signifies how they have nothing to offer America...

Here is the cartoon that she praises - wow - insightful...

"The American people deserve to know the truth about the shenanigans this administration pulls on an uninformed citizenry."

I'm sure the author was even more concerned about the Klintoon admin selling national secrets to the ChiComs.

Heck, they had unfettered access to the White house then!

Yeah, BarneyFrankGate kinda went nowhere. But he is a Dem - and they can do no wrong.

Running a gay escort service out of (DEM) Congressman's apartment = NOTHING TO SEE HERE...

Why is the liberal press indulging in this gay bashing, reminds me of the racist bashing of Secretary Rice.

Bull. Anyone remember how the press treated the release of Gary Aldrich's book, Unlimited Access?

For months now, I have been listening to the liberal yellow-dog DEMOCRATS telling the world that the IMPEACHMENT is "just about SEX" and we should "stay out of PRESIDENT CLINTON'S PRIVATE LIFE." The WHITE HOUSE IS THE PEOPLE's House - we PAID for it and we STILL pay for it. Most firms don't even want their employees making a personal PHONE CALL on company time. Check out what we allow our employees to get away with on OUR time:

"One evening, when DENNIS was manning the office, GSA SUPERVISING CARPENTER WOODY DIGUISEPPE stomped in, visibly angry, and said, 'DENNIS, I'm here to lodge a serious complaint against the CLINTON ADMINISTRATION...If you can't do anything about this, you'll know who to pass it on to, right?'

'Well, yes, WOODY, I suppose. What is it?'

'Look. My guys have to be able to do their work around here, but if the CLINTON STAFF won't let 'em, then how are they going to do it? I had two guys sent down to the first floor to do some work last night, and they couldn't do the job. Do you know WHY they couldn't do their job, DENNIS?'

"WOODY was shaking with anger. 'They couldn't do their job because they walked into a locked office and found two CLINTON STAFFERS doing their thing on a desk! That's why!"

'WOODY, WOODY,WOODY, calm down, my friend. Let's have a reality check here. Yes, I KNOW IT'S THE WHITE HOUSE, WOODY, but there's been sex here before, and there will be sex in offices here long after we're gone. I don't like it, and you don't like it, and it's disgusting, but it's not an issue for the FBI, unless there is some kind of extramarital affair going on, so...'

'Look, DENNIS, you don't understand. It was TWO GUYS DOING IT!'...

"DENNIS had tried to stay cool, but even this FBI veteran was shocked. Later, leaving out the identities of WOODY and the men who were offended, he retold the story to a group of PERMANENT STAFF MEMBERS. They didn't so much as blink.

"One of the FEMALE STAFFERS said, 'Big deal. You think that's something? Last week I went down to the ladies room on the ground floor - you know the ones that have the shower stalls for joggers to use? Well, anyway, I walked in the door and heard the shower running, and as I turned the corner I noticed two forms in the shower stall, together. They were BOTH WOMEN, and they were REALLY going at it! One was standing and the other one was on her knees, and you can guess the rest!' " [10] UNLIMITED ACCESS: AN FBI AGENT INSIDE THE CLINTON WHITE HOUSE by Gary Aldrich - Regnery Publishing, Inc. 1996

The cartoon seems to be a subtle jab at the White House and a major slam to the "journalists". But then, I'm a FReeper, I could be expected to see it that way.
