Too bad Terri hadn't received any speech therapy to be able to communicate anything about the trauma received upon her body before the statute of limitations expired.
Funny how those who want to murder Terri are so selectively sticky-wicket with the Rule of Law. What about criminal investigation abuse laws that were in effect? I believe the bone scans results of trauma should have, by law, automatically triggered a criminal investigation.
Had the persons who were supposed to report/release infomation regarding the abnormal bone scan results done their job (i.e., IMMEDIATELY REPORTING the abnormal results to the proper authorities), there wouldn't have been the convenient "problem" of the statute of limitations. That only came into play because the bone scan results were conveniently kept hidden from the Shindlers for years, and were only released to Terri's parents AFTER HINO had guardianship and the statute of limitations protections were in effect.
Therein lies the problem....when you are dead, you are dead a long time. No second chances, no wait, maybe we do not want to stop the tube feedings!
I do not know much about Greer and am not familar with all of the details of this case.
But based on what I know, I would think Judge Greer, or any judge for that matter) would err on the side of caution, because if they are wrong, no one pays the price but Terri.
Her husband aside, what does Judge Greer get out of this? What does his obstinance get him? What does he gain by denying a full investifgation of all the facts?
My information was incorrect, please see post 33, it was her brother who called the ambulance to the home, Michael didn't.
That's news to me, and I've tried to stay up on this. A supporting link would be nice, but thanks regardless.
It would be nice to know a time estimate of how long Terri just laid there after her collapse before help arrived.
Sorry all....my proofing stunk on that post!
Guess you are correct, how can you starve someone to death who's awake and responding, I just don't get it... that's murder
Again, I could have incorrect information, but I thought I had read that Judge Greer had a financial interest in the hospice where Terri is, now.
Oh happy day!
I've been so amazed DCF hadn't bothered with this case years ago.
Yep, there was LOTS conflicting testimony... Most of the details of her 'accident' when explained by the hubbie, look night and day different from the way the Schindlers testified, and the paramedics seem to back up the Schindlers.
With the DCF stepping in now finally, and Greer's new deadline tommorrow, and the 15 anniversary of that 'accident' also tomorrow, I home some of the media will focus on those inconsistencies.
Excerpts from last weekend's "The World Over Live" - Interview with Bob Schindler...
Arroyo: "Did you see black and blue marks on Terri? I've read that in several reports." Schindler: "Yes, prior to her incident, yes." . . . Bob S: "A radiologist says that she had broken bones throughout her body, and he kind of pinpointed to that timeframe in which she had the incident, and either she was beaten up badly, or hit by a truck. We saw her the night before she collapsed, and she was fine." . . . Arroyo: "Now once Terri was in this condition, there- I read elsewhere where he attacked- Michael may have attacked your daughter Suzanne. Is that correct?" Bob S: "He had a tendency to become very violent, yes, and he tried to attack my daughter Suzanne. We had to really step in and protect her, and she used to go to bed at night and lock her doors and keep a hammer under her bed. That she was that frightened." . . . Arroyo: Jackie from Washington, you're on The World Over Live, what's your question Jackie? Jackie: I want to know if anybody has considered having a criminal investigation of her husband. It seems to me that, if for no other reason, because she was bruised, and other things that happened? The current wife is in danger, if this man is bent on this type of thing. Arroyo: There is also a girlfriend who accused him of stalking in 2001, correct? either David [Gibbs] or mister Schindler? Bob.S: Yea, I can answer that... He was... Mr.Gibbs mentioned about this malpractice suit when Michael Schiavo was asking, actually for 20 million dollars, and recited his wedding vows to the malpractice jury, and at the same time, he was having an intimate affair with this girl, her name is Cindy, who surfaced later and that said Michael Schiavo was stalking her, actually had run her off the road with her car. And she was afraid to testify in the courts for fear that, she had since been married, that he would kill her children, quote unquote.

If we get any Soctt Peterson type evidence here, this case blows into the media stratosphere..
I don't understand why they don't just let the hubby go in the room alone with the little wife and a pillow to do the deed himself.
Well why didn't he just say so. I'm sure this could be arranged.......... ;-)
Paging Dr. Kevorkian.....
I don't know how it works in FL, but in TX judges know better than dismiss The Department. Of course, they can later make assinine decisions, but they dare not refuse to allow them their say and any investigation for as long as they wish. In a previous life I was The Department, heehee.
He can't. He knows what happened that night and he's afraid for his own sorry life. Removal of the tube and a quick cremation and he's off scot free.
Better pray first that Satan in the form of Judge Greer be bound and gagged.
