LAND WHALE post's letters from Lib soldiers in Iraq.

I just found this on the Land Whale's website. He's posted letters he claims are from servicemen in the "war zone." They sound like they came from big time leftist's. We are provided no proof that these are actual soldiers. I believe Michael Moore-on knows that the majority of troops in Iraq are proud of what they are doing. Of course that does not serve his ambitions. So he's more than happy to promote the voices of the few malcontents. Here's one such letter:

----------------------------------

In 2000, I supported Bush because I thought he was a 'uniter.'"

Subject: thanks for taking the time to read this

Mr. Moore,

I'm leaving soon to go to Iraq, a place I know I have no business being in. In 2000, I supported Bush because I thought he was a "uniter."

Four years later, I'm in the military, and I see the destructive path he is walking. My wife and I both came into the Air Force in 2002. There are numerous reasons I joined, but patriotism was at the top of the list. I used to wake up in the mornings and look at myself in the mirror when I was in uniform. I was proud, and loved the fact that I was defending my country. Now, I look in the mirror and feel nothing. I have lost my patriotism, and I feel I have also lost my country. I own all your books, and DVDs, so I'm not asking for anything free, etc. I just wanted to thank you for your work, and your dedication to uncovering the lies of this administration. In my eyes, you, sir, are a hero.

Thanks for your time,

Gary Egelston

I think this letter wins the prize for most leftie soundbites, talking points, and "how to sound like a former Bush supporter" ever!

I guess we found the 25% of the military who voted for Kerry.

The "media arts" are not just a venue to entertain, they are far more powerful than that. They can educate, broaden philosophy, or act as a propaganda venue.
Maybe this note really is from a USAF airman. Just look what this young man has been consuming to "broaden his mind". Anyone who exists on the trash of M. Moore is bound to be affected. A steady diet of McDonalds' is arguably dangerous to one's health, the same could be said for the propaganda of Moore.

I was proud, and loved the fact that I was defending my country. Now, I look in the mirror and feel nothing. I have lost my patriotism, and I feel I have also lost my country. I own all your books, and DVDs,...

the Land Whale ... posted letters he claims are from servicemen in the "war zone."

If I'm reading this letter correctly, this guy is not in a 'war zone'. He's in the states and is maybe feeling some butterflies because he's being sent to do the job he agreed to do. A minor point for sure, but typical of the Whale's disregard for accuracy or truth.
