Excellent, I'll check that out for sure! I've always enjoyed her when I can pick her up when traveling. Thanks for the links.
What's her normal broadcasting time?
I really don't know, but it's in the morning. It is a running joke on the show that she can't get to work on time in the morning. Sometimes her show starts without her, and the producer dudes have to start talking until she gets there.
or "if anyone's feelings were hurt..." blather.
Wead seems to have looked into his own soul .. can you imagine a lawyer telling him he's in trouble? I can't.
Honestly I think this was done after a lot of agonizing
reflection and soul searching. Good for him.
Thanks again, I've got it bookmarked, I really appreicate your links and will definately try to connect tomorrow!
I'm not sure conscience had anything to do with it, to tell you the truth.
That part of him seemed to be lost when he gave them to the NY Times as he betrayed his 'friend.'
I want to know what he means by "vet" the tapes. To me, this means they're for sale to the highest bidder
I had an Uncle who used to count cards in Vegas back in the 70's. He was quite good at it for a period of time. One day he was 'convinced' that it was not in his best interest to continue this avocation. He described one of the men who visited him as "Luca Brazi in a bad mood".
I think the government may have been more subtle, but just as effective.
PS: "had" -- Natural causes, 1998
Good question.
If he wants them given back to the President because of their 'relationship' then why does he need a lawyer to help him figure out how to 'vet' them?
Just give them to your 'friend,' Doug.
I guess you could say the same thing about an arsonist who calls the fire department after he starts a fire.
If this back stabbing POS sells them, he should be brought up on charges
If any more show up anywhere, we'll know exactly who delivered them.
Only then will we know if Mr Wead has an active conscience.
I think his betrayal came back to smack him in the face, and now he's trying to backtrack out of it.
But then I'm a cynic about this guy, as of two days ago anyway...........
Please.
He stabs G.W. in the back for years, but hey, he says something people want to hear and suddenly he's trustworthy?
I really wish people would conceptualize just what this man did. It is not a mistake. This wasn't a one time event. He didn't consult with lawyers, state laws, book dealers and Liberal MSM by "mistake". He did this over a long period of time. This was the action of a duplicitous man.
G.W. believed him once too. He got a knife in his back. Obviously he's adept at faking sincerity.
G.W. is a good man. He might forgive him but I'll guarentee he never trusts this man again and neither will I.
Wead has a conscience after all.
I'm sure George W. Bush was no different than 75% of the people his age back then and most likely experimented with drugs. In could care less about what he did when he was in College. I care about what he has done, and is doing, as our President. We all know what he is made of and no amount of decades old dirt will change my opinion of our President. I just think this guy Doug Wead is a scumbag for pulling this stunt and it's too late for apologies, just give back the tapes and fade away into obscurity
I will bet that when George W. Bush gets the tapes, he will release them to the public on the White House website so they can't be edited by the media the way they edited Rumsfeld's remarks to the troops a few months back. What I heard of the tapes show President Bush to be the good hearted person we all know
I think Wead just realized he was going lose just about every friend he has. Who would want to have a real friendship with a backstabber like this. He was going to be one of the loneliest men on earth. Plus everyone will want to spit in his direction for the rest of his life.
LOL. I'm still chuckling over Richard Weed.
Go Laura!
