In NJ, everyone is prohibited (except LEO's) from owning body armor. No, I don't have the statute.

No arguments of rationality on the other side, mentioning that these firearms have been available since the 1960's, and that virtually no examples exist of an officer dying in this way. It surely must figure into this equation, that nobody has yet made any bulletproof vests for the head.

I want one.
Sounds like an excellent round for varmints, even up to coyote size. I keep a Blackhawk in 30 carbine in my truck when I'm out feeding or just riding around on the ranch. It's a very flat shooting round but extremely loud. The 5.7x28 sounds perfect.

Nice. Ensuring that EVERYONE is prevented from making themselves less defenseless. What a great objective for a state government to support.

Why not just ban the bullets? I believe that would be any bullet leaving the barrel at 1,000 fps or greater. They've tried it in Chicago. It's a backdoor way of banning hunting.

No firearm that I know of can be slipped past security because they all have metal barrels. Not to mention ammunition.

Sorry, thought you were serious, my mistake.

Among others. They're talking about this assault pistol too. Back to the Supreme Court for TC. Wonder if anyone's ever committed a crime with one?

If the brave gentleman in Tyler who gave his life trying to stop the shooter there a day or two ago had one of these pistols and the AP ammo, he might still be alive today.
As it is, his shots hit, but did not penetrate, the ballistic vest the perp was wearing, and the perp killed him. Good reason for the law abiding to be free to purchase AP ammo if we so desire.

Because they are communists and want to destroy the constitution. When the british marched on Lexington, it was not to confiscate fowling pieces and muskets. The CITIZENS possessed CANNONS.
These communists that call themselves democrats want to totally disarm the population and are striving to destroy our nation and our society. It is communist appointed judges that want same sex marriages, and are legislating from the bench.
