Stripper Art (or How To Find a Loophole)
NBC-2 TV WBBH  Fort Myers | Cape Coral | Naples ^ | Wednesday February 23, 2005

BOISE, ID — A gentlemen's club in Boise, Idaho, called Erotic City is offering customers some culture. A city ordinance bans complete nudity at strip clubs but makes an exception for artistic displays.

Erotic City is giving its customers pencils and sketch pads during "art night." The guys are encouraged to draw the strippers while they perform.

Chris Teague, Erotic City's owner, says he's serious about art, it's not just a legal loophole.

Teague notes the club hasn't had any problems with the law or complaints since starting the art nights.

I'm imagining what most of the art looks like. I guess what you find on the walls in the Men's room is art too, now.

Governor Perry wanted to help fund schools with a surcharge on the entry fees for strip joints.

Would have made for the perfect excuse to go to the gentlemans clubs-

The manager may have been thinking outside the box. The same can't be said for the patrons.
