Wish I knew someone who was good with a baseball bat. Once upon a time (8th grade) I had the best batting average, most hits and home runs in my softbal league...
Bet I could still hit a line drive well placed deep into left field...

Have you seen the Passion of the Christ? I pray for justice, but realize that Jesus had to feel the rejection of His heavenly Father, Terri has always known her parents loved her. Jesus was beaten to a pulp then hung upon a stake. Granted, His suffering was shorter, but it was also intensified. Isaiah 52-53 Psalms 22. I believe, as you do that she will get more from this, just as Messiah will rule at the right time.

"There are serious questions about what happened to cause her to collapse as there was never discovered in tests the "chemical imbalance" that the news media always falsely reports."
No, I understand you read that a lot, but it just is not true.
The chemical imbalance (critically low potassium "severe hypopotassemia" @ 2), undernourished, low calcium) and the fact that she had cardiac arrest, and the lack of oxygen to her brain is documented in her medical charts.
The only thing that gets misreported is calling the cardiac arrest a "heart attack". They are 2 separate things.
Everyone needs to
read her medical release documentation from the hospital.
(again, for the record - I may think the assault theory is wrong and too lightly flung around, but I *still* think the guy is an ass, and they should not ever pull anyone's feeding tube under these circumstances.)

I believe that the Schindlers have looked into this angle, and the company is now defunct. They were bought out or liquidated years ago. I'm sure they'd love their money back, though. Day late and a dollar short, I bet.
Something just clicked. I wonder just *when* that company went defunct. Perhaps this was around the same time MS started pushing for her death?

Why couldn't Gov. Bush go in there with State Troopers and take over Terri's room. If activist judges can so disregard State Law that is suppose to protect and preserve life, then why can't Gov. Bush decide enough is enough! Shoot to kill anyone who tries to get in the way. If that tactic was good enough for Elian Gonzalez as far as the Feds were concerned (Clinton, Reno, and the rest of the libs were all for it), then why not now in this case?

"Exactly what do Terri's EEG's reveal hmmmm??????? Since she breathes on her own she IS NOT BRAIN DEAD!"
I read that the EEG they took on her before the last big trial 2 years ago showed no activity.
Her doctor said it was because she was tense, and the filtering of her anxiety filtered out the signals of her brain waves.

By cremating her immediately, he insures that no examination is ever done.
He's covering all his bases.

If you are so sure that Terri has no cerebral cortex, then what is the harm in allowing it to be scanned again? What if it was some other person's scan.? Has that never happened? Charts mixed up? Doctors never screw up, right? The lawyer for Michael is a shyster! You are telling me that every doctor and every lawyer is ethical? You have greater faith in them than I do.

I think you may be wrong on this account. I have heard of a boy in the Columbus area years ago who was anencephalic (sp?). They assumed he would die soon after birth. He did not, and his family and friends prayed for him continually, all the while taking care of his needs. They did a news story about him many years ago at this point, but eventually (they have no idea how) his brain grew, and he was able to go to kindergarten just like any other five year old. This had to be in the mid-90's and I do not recall his name, just that he was somewhere near Columbus. His health was attributed to being a miracle, on account of the steadfast prayers and care of family and friends. Not a wive's tale! They showed the boy and his mom on the evening news!

Actually there is one last thing Jeb could do, which many of us hope he is holding as a last resort option. That is to declre her in protective custody, as a ward of the state. There are many other legal ramifications to an action such as this and whether he will use it remains open to speculation.

And here you have hit up on the most important point of all my friend. Its not Terri's condition or who loves her the most that we all need to be focusing on.
Terri's case is about keeping the choice of life and death in the hands of each individual American.
If you choose to have a living will for yourself stating that you want to be starved and dehydrated to death then hey...thats your choice...This is America, and I say go for it.
But herein lies the danger of Terri's situation that everybody overlooks because they are so freaked out by her physical condition.
Terri did not make this choice. A judge, and a husband, and a lawyer made this choice for her.
Terri's case sets the legal precedence for the choice of life and death to be taken out of the hands of the individual.
Its such a subtle thing, hardly anybody thinks about it because they are all so caught up in the emotional issues surrounding Terri's case.
Terri had no legally binding document stating her end of life wishes. Hence, that choice is being made for her.
This is exactly how euthanasia started in the Netherlands. One simple, precedent setting case, and the choice was removed from the hands people.
It didn't take the courts long to realize that they had gotten away with killing one person who had no will or end of life directives, and that the mechanism to kill more was already in place. Now doctors and judges get to decide who lives and dies over there.
All of you people who want Terri dead better realize that when Terri goes so goes your freedom of choice in this matter.
Do you really want some crack-pot doctor or judge deciding the manner and time of your death? Do you want to be disposed of simply because you are deemed to be a burden on the Government?
If not, then you better wake up and get behind Terri, because all of our futures are riding on what happens to her.
And to answer the question, "who would want to live like that?" Obviously Terri would like to live like that. She has endured more than a decade of mental torture that would have killed a normal person by now. Terri has the will to live, and she is exercising it every day.
