I went to Sparta to day. 20 years ago, when we first made our summer home near by. In the summer you saw very view if any Hispanics, today I saw more Hispanics that locals. There were all ages and couples with children and they were not speaking English.

20 years ago they worked on the tree farms. Today they work for contractors and landscapers , they built a stone wall for me, but didn't know who would do the work when we signed the contract. Those that worked on the tree farms went home after the Christmas trees were cut. They must have had work permits.

We have no truck farms, that I know of. I live here year around since my husband died.

What do you mean peculer to four state.

I mean that most people in the other 46 states view it as a problem peculiar to the border states. Perception is reality in politics, deal with it.
