Just to let you know for every idiot teacher there are ten who support the troops. I teach in Maine, and my school sent cookies and pictures made by students to Iraq last fall. The troops loved them and we plan to send more this spring. This so called "teacher" ought to be dropped off in the middle of Ramadi to see how his friend Zarqawi would treat him.

Thanks so much for supporting our troops. You're the kind of teacher I remember having a hundred years or so ago . . . until I got to college. LOL.

My nephew was in Iraq . . . and the two recurring themes he always speaks of are how happy their Care Packages made them and how, THROUGH THE INTERNET, they knew MOST Americans supported them and their efforts. If you want to hear a Young Man vent on the MSM, you should . . . but that's another thread. LOL.

Our warriors skillfully and bravely man the frontlines of the battlefield . . . but don't think FOR ONE SECOND that you're not serving your country. You're manning the frontlines of the battle for OUR FUTURE. Teach our future well . . . you're the parents' eyes and ears and you're the third-most important person in our youngsters' lives. We always, always remember our favorite and best teachers . . . I suspect you'll be remembered well.

Again . . . THANKS!!!

Good teachers don't get nearly enough credit for all they do. Oftentimes they're underpaid and thought to be unappreciated. YOU'RE NOT BY THOSE OF US WHO KNOW HOW TRYING YOUR PROFESSION IS!! I had to substitute teach one time when the flu outbreak devastated a local school . . . I was a blabbering idiot after three days. I would even venture to say that GOOD teachers are the first building block that supports our way of life . . . you're that important.

The bad teachers? LOL. Trust me . . . we'll take care of them SOB's one at a time . . . eventually.

The Silent Majority is silent no more.

I agree, I am a middle school Social Studies teacher in Upstate NY and my students are VERY supportive of our troops and for the most part our President! My room has pictures of our troops and other patriotic images which the students and parents like and appreciate!

This is a twisted idiot who allowed this to happen. When I sent letters to firehouses in NYC after 9/11 and to Afghanistan I proofed them all-you never know what could end up in one. He should be suspended! Screw the union..ooops, I hope they don't come to take me away!!
