Did Simon and Schuster violate the law by passing tapes that President Bush didn't consent to having taped. It may have been legal for Wead to tape, but if the person being taped doesn't know it can the be broadcast to the public legally?

I think Simon and Schuster paid Hitlary her $8 million and Bill's book too. Did O'Neil and Wilson's book too I think.

Wead is scumbag, he had to know that Simon & Schuster has been out for his "friend".

Well, from what I understand of the profession, the expression "Getting Schustered" I've heard to mean: "Getting screwed".

And not in a nice way, either.

I just thought it was illegal to air private conversations that people didn't consent to being taped?

If one of them was in Texas at the time it would be legal.

Thus ends the extent of my legal knowledge regarding taping conversations.

Bush keeps making the same mistake of sucking up to the Clinton and they keep biting him in the ass.

I'm not talking about the original taping, this is just like the Gingrich hit job the Senior couple taped and then handed to McDermet and he passed them onto the same NYT

Simon & Schuster are owned by Viacom.

CBS is owned by Viacom.

Viacom is one of Hillary's main supporters.

Any questions ..??

Exactly the way I see it too. Live and learn doesn't appear to be in Bush's vocabulary.

Not the same. In the Gingrich hit, the people who recorded the tape were a third party to the conversation having interecpted cell-phone transmissions off the air with a radio scanner.

In this instance, a party to the conversation did the taping. In some states both parties have to consent to the taping. In Texas only one does. So as long as Wead was in Texas, it was legal.

Building up Blozo by putting him on the tsunami fund was a Bad idea unless you want to rebuild Blozo's legacy. Simon and Shuster, Hitlery's book publisher.

"If one of them was in Texas at the time it would be legal.

In Maine you only need the consent of one of the parties of the conversation in order to tape that conversation.

I still don't see a corelation to "sucking up to the Clintons".

Besides, the President isn't doing it for Bozo - he's doing it for the OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENCY - big difference. Bush can do nothing about impeachment - Bozo will always have that hanging around his neck.

A lot of people have commented on how he looks - but he's still in recovery from major surgery - and at his age I don't think you bounce back so quickly. Also - because of the surgery and his new diet - he's lost a lot of weight. I think the wieght loss may be making him look gaunt - or sickly.

Rushing back from recovery does not help. He appears to getting worse some days, that's not good.

No it's not .. and the appearance of Sharon Stone following everywhere Bill goes is not a good sign either. I can't imagine what it would be like to have that mess in the WH again.
