I thought that Bobby Darin had had a heartache for Connie Francis and that Connie Francis' Father had threatened Darin's life if Bobby ever dated Connie.

I saw a (fairly) recent picture of her somewhere ???
and she still looked fabulous.
But it could have been retouched.

Very sad news. I didn't know she had all those problems, but it goes with the territory. The only movie of hers I remember was "Summer Place". Didn't Troy Donohue costar in that? He was gorgeous (I thought).
May the Lord be merciful with her, may she rest in peace in an eternal summer place, and may her family be consoled.
When I was young, I thought real life was like those romantic movies. It is not.

Wasn't she in Absent Minded Professor, the one where Jerry Lewis, as a wimpy college professor, invented a magic formula which made him into a romeo type hunk.

The last movie that I recall seeing her, was the Dunwich Horror.

God bless her soul. She was a fine little girl, and fine tribute to womanhood.

Call me rotten but as I read your post I was thinking to myself it should have been somebody like Ted Kennedy.
It just seems like the miserable alcoholics live longer than the sympathetic ones.
