Well I like barbecue, too, same as any other red-blooded American.
But there ain't gonna be any GREAT dinner parties in the White House until we elect our first hunky president. Go ahead, do the research... when was the last time pierogi was on the White House menu??? Sheeesh, these people don't know what good home cookin' really IS!!!!

I entertained a gentleman caller of Polish extraction and fed him pork chops & pierogis, among other things. He was delighted with the meal and asked me what the dumplings were. I couldn't believe that his mother hadn't made him pierogies and he didn't know what they were!

I love pierogies of all kinds, and I'm of the colored gal extraction myself.
