Maverick Republican Sen. John McCain said Sunday that his New York colleague, Sen. Hillary Clinton, would do well if she becomes president of the United States.
"I am sure that Sen. Clinton would make a good president," McCain told NBC's "Meet the Press," as both he and Clinton were being interviewed from Baghdad.
While noting that as a Republican, he'll be supporting the GOP nominee in 2008, McCain reiterated, "I have no doubt that Sen. Clinton would make a good president."
Asked whether she thought McCain would make a good president, Sen. Clinton was somewhat less effusive, responding tersely, "Absolutely" - before erupting in her familiar cackle.

g'night all.
Oh, man, I didn't need that picture in my head!

.
...A Google.com search of...
.."BILL CLINTON UNITED NATIONS"..
...shows Annan has appointed him offical head of UN Tsunami Relief.
...A foot in the door, it appears..?

Have read some updated stuff recently about the UFO field and some claims that the powers that be amongst the ET critters have either brainwashed humans or replaced them with clones controlled by them or some such variation on the theme.
Methinks that this complicit traitorous idiot could be a prime example! Sheesh. What a dodo.
He doesn't sound like a REpublican OR an American.
With that ticket, Ralph Nader is starting to look like Ronald Reagan...
Oh, and another thing- I guess this the start of bipartisanship on the hill, right? more like bipolardisordership....
There were 5 million other things McCain coud have said to answer that question about Hildebeast running for Prez. why is the Republican party still tolerating this? But then they tolerated him when he didn't back the Swiftees...of all people, to align himself with Kerry.
I think the fame has gotten to him. Kind of like Brittany Spears thinking she has talent. Next we'll see McCain on SNL.
"It's good to hate. It lets you charge a lot and sleep at night." DENNY CRAIN!
What the hell is he thinking? Brain tumor? What the hell?
Why does anybody expect him to say when she's sitting right there next to him? >>
Have to agree with you on this one. I saw the interview, they were both sitting next to each other when Tim asked that stupid question.
"What a drooling fool, what a traitor, what a sycophant, what a slimeball."
Perfect description of most politicians. In fact, don't the above attributes account for the enduring tenure of career politicians? While we consider the travesty of tenure among academics (ref:Wade Churchill), in effect, what is the difference among "tenured" career politicians?
Lifetime appointments for judges?
Not meaning to wish Hillary harm, but she may be just what we need to defeat Zarqawi. The saw would melt. It would look like the saws that were drawn over Curly's head. Then she could yell for the military. Then the Marine's could rescue her fat ass and have a good laugh. Then they could shoot Zarqawi.
It could happen.....
So ... we can infer that McCain's angling to be her Veep?
McCain also said that Kerry would make a good president. So why would we not expect him to say this about Senator Rodam, didn't she revert to that name after her husband won the White House?
McCain carry senatorial politeness to an extreme. It means nothing.
I had to go read the article!! I guess she was standing right beside him when he HAD to say that. A mask is a good thing for Hillary, LOL.
John McCain saying Hillary Rotten "would make a good president" goes beyond mavarick status and into the area of political insanity.
Same guy who said Kerry was qualified to be President.
