One protester says, "I have never seen anyone less amenable to listening our point of view." Listening? Son, be glad you're alive.
And next time someone offers you a glass of stupid, say 'no thanks, I'm full'.

Who would have guessed that oil traders were also soccer fans?

"I have never seen anyone less amenable to listening our point of view." Rather disingenuous from someone using foghorns and whistles to proclaim his point of view. Yahoo for these Brits and their quick and decisive response.

Seems like the proper response to uncivil protest.

This is what naturally results when a group of anti-private ownership zealots try to force their outdated ideology on a group of free market supporters in the midst of a hot game of capitalism.
Ideology aside, this was a pretty stupid thing to do and I don't know why they're surprised at the results.

Great Article, thanks for posting it.
Im still laughing 10 minutes after 1st reading it. Maybe next time theyll send more of them to the hospital.
To: FairOpinion; Berosus
the traders, most of them under 25 years old, rushed the protesters, pushing filing cabinets on top of them and kicking and punching them until they retreated. Twenty-seven protesters were arrested. Two were hospitalized, one with a broken jaw and the other with a concussion. One protester says, "I have never seen anyone less amenable to listening our point of view."
Blowing whistles and the like isn't a "point of view". It's fascist jackbooted brownshirted bullyboy BS. These "protestors" got just a little better than what they deserved. LET'S ROLL! ping.

Well said, by a survivor of the losing side.
I'll bet some of those traders are also rugby football players.
