WOO-HOO! If Hillary is saying that and that's the way the AP is reporting it; that means Hell just Froze over and ASU Sun Devils have a chance of getting in the Final-Four of Basket Ball. Can't wait to tell my son.

Just one small morph farther in her reinvention to the right.

The 'old' unreinvented Hillary could never hope to be POTUS in '08, but by progressively muddying the waters with newfound moderation, she and her handlers seek to stem objection to her 'former' ways.

Be ye not decieved...The Hildebeast lurks within.

Aside from what Hillary said, consider this.

Why is Hillary headlined, when she is the most junior member of a five-person congressional junket?

I'm getting awfully tired of the way AP, the Times, and others act like lackeys and lickspittles for Democrat presidential candidates, even four years before the next election with an undeclared candidate.

What expertise does Hillary have on Iraq? That she's visited two or three times for photo-ops?

The new Hillary Clinton knows the old Hitlery Rodham Clinton could never win an election.

One the eve of President's Day, we should remember the words of the Great Emancipator himself: "You can fool some of the people all of the time, all of the people some of the time, but you can't fool all of the people all of the time".

John Kerry wanted American's to judge him only on 4 months he "visited" Vietnam, Hillary is going to ask them to judge her on the 4 year period from 2004-2008 only.

She is just pathetic. All her sliding to the right won't help her in 2008. I just hope that most people see her for the lying, conniving, snake she is. If she considers running in 2008, all those scandals in her past will rise back to the full measure of public scrutiny, and she'll never survive that.

Hillary is real clever. The Clintons win by challenging the foundation of their opposition. They used Ross Perot to challenge G H Bush from the right on the budget deficit and military cutbacks. With conservatives demoralized and split, Bill Clinton slid into office with 43% of the vote.

Hillary's up to the same game. She will run to the right of our party leadership where they give her an opportunity (immigration, border security, defense spending.) Where Karl Rove and Bush don't give her an opportunity, she'll create one by using her status and connections in the MSM to create an illusion that a couple RINOs (Graham, McCain) speak for the entire Republican party. She'll be to the right of Lindsey Graham and John McCain on Iraq, and probably on Social Security pretty soon, as well. And the average voter will be so confused about the GOP position, their heads will be spinning. And they'll vote for a real Democrat over a fake/confused RINO.

But Hillary's dividing and conquering, and she'll exploit any division within our ranks to win.

The subtle message here from Hillary is, "I am responsible for all the good things that have happened in Iraq including the elections and the fading insurgency."

HILLARY, SHUT UP!

What a breathtaking grasp of the obvious on Her Heinous's part. She's just trying to make sure she isn't lumped publicly in with the 'hate the war' crowd. That would hurt her viability as a general Presidential candidate in 2008.

Until people begin publicly calling terrorists "terrorists", they can all go hang out with the 'insurgents'.

Hillary Rodham's counterfeit claim to hail the failing of the insurgents is a forgery of values worthy of Dan Rather, himself.

This is of course, my friends, just another Hillary hoax.

When Air America and Barbara Boxer (and all the others) publicly excoriate Hillary for abandoning her liberal roots, (and causing her liberal base to wonder same) then I might take a passive interest. But they are playing along obediently, with a wink and a nudge.

But for now, it's amusing, professionally produced and amateurly performed theatre, and it's not taking our village.

I wonder why?

Yes, with Hillary lip-synching the Bush doctrine and hubby travelling around with Poppy, you just have to wonder. NOT.

Hillary, of course, is devoid of conviction. It's all about power. McCain should swap parties with Lieberman and be done with it.

Well Freepers it is now official, the smartest woman in the world has told us the insurgents are failing, so it must be true and here I thought all this time Bush and Rummy were lying to us again.

Question: If a tree fell in the forest, and Hillary did not announce it, does that mean it did not fall?? Similarly, if the "insurgents" in Iraq are failing, and Hillary did not announce it, would that mean they are not failing?? Hillary makes pronouncements. That's about all she does. And Americans are supposed to long for the sound of her voice telling us things. She sees becoming and being President in just about those terms, folks.
