RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) -- A military police private who bared her breasts during a mud-wrestling party at an Army camp in Iraq is being kicked out of the service, her grandmother said Friday.

Luci Tomlin said 19-year-old Pfc. Deanna Allen was being singled out since photos of the event were published earlier this month.

OK, this soldier has been punished for participating in a Command sponsored event. Now, what about her Chain of Command who allowed this event to take place?

Agree. The superior who permitted this morale/cohesion busting incident to go forward should pay an equal, if not more severe, price.

Mud wrestling in a combat zone with a bunch of guys standing around watching their supposed female comrades perform a strip act? Give me a F***ing break!

If there's anything we don't need, it's a grandmother wrestling GI!

Hmmm? What is wrong with this picture? Why are soldiers no longer allowed to act as soldiers?

Yes, this appears to be an Army equivalent of "Tail Hook", but the troops weren't in attendance voluntarily. Somebody took them to Iraq and made them look at naked mud wrestling women.

This sort of thing is considered TORTURE in Iraq, and even the officers were undoubtedly as TORTURED as were the enlisted personnel!

Haven't you noticed those guys beating their backs with steel flails during Ashura? That's TORTURE too. Iraq is a country where TORTURE is common, and, to a degree, accepted.

It would be wrong to punish our troops for adopting the standards of the country where they are providing protection.

Yes, that's it ~ everybody was making nice with the locals by engaging in self TORTURE.

The entire Army has lowered itself into the mud by throwing unforms on 'hos and shipping them to the front lines.

It would be interesting to know the IQ's of these female idiots as well as that of whoever authorized this travesty of military degradation.

This is the second time the Grandmother went public to complain. When the soldier was busted down in rank she went public complaining that she alone shouldn't have been punished. The photo in question that got her in trouble was where she flashed her bare breasts much like one of those girls gone wild video shots.

There are times that it may be best just to keep quite and take your lumps instead of having your family make you a liability.

Would you care to speculate on how soon the former trooper signs her Playboy deal?

I support all our soldiers and wish to stand far away from your descriptions of them as 'hos'.

"guys" behaving in horseplay is not degrading, and I don't see it as degrading for women either. It ain't Sunday School.

It's something called the 24 hour 7 days a week MSM news cycle, run by leftists looking to demonize everything military. The US military, usually, are wimpish when criticized by the established press. They tuck their tails between their leg and piss all over the floor.

In a country where mad Muslims think western women are immoral and loose, this little act goes a long way to strengthen the rumor.

The problem arose because some dumbass took pictures and then released them---just like with Abu Garib. If there had been no pictures and only verbal reports, nothing would have come of it.

Yes, it could end mud wrestling. Perish the thought!

The bigger they are, the harder they should fall. Probably won't though. Old Boy network. This was one of the reasons I didn't re-up.

The posing with pictures, and the nearly instant worldwide distribution of them via the internet, seems to be the common denominator in all these silly things getting blown out of proportion. Have some common sense people!

she got caught - she pays the price. Simple and fair.

That is the military way, but the liberals HATE fairness and justice.

I was a section leader that had one female and 20 males in a closed environment. One night around 2am (we were working) I heard a bunch of laughing back in the Ops room, so I went back there and found the one female in a contest with one male --- they were removing one article of clothing at a time -- first one to stop loses.

I caught them when she was in her bra/panties stage. I told them to stop doing that during working hours and I went back to my office.

The next morning, the Colonel called me in at 9am (I got off at 7am) and proceeded to (military jargon) me out! I was the supervisor and was responsible for what happened during my watch. I stood there at attention during the "lecture" and the only thing that saved my butt was they did stop the contest when I told them to. This was before digital cameras, etc, luckily.

IF more had happened, and the word had leaked out, those two would have received punishment for "Conduct Unbecoming" (or similar wording) punishable by fine, restriction, reduction in rank, and I would have definitely been charged with dereliction of duty, demoted, fined, etc.

BUT --- this was during work hours!

If this happened after hours, and all involved were in the same rank area (e1-e3, e4-e5, or e6-above) there would have been NO REPROCUSSIONS other than the "royal reaming" by the CO for getting caught. Maybe a restriction and fines and extra duties to make sure you remember the lesson. But that is all.

But then, I was in the military BEFORE the PC-left socialists took over our government and military.

Not that this excuses the participants but when you put hormone charged young men and women together in a stressful situation, far from their homes, with little privacy and few other outlets to escape the boredom why be shocked that they will behave this way. Go to most any college campus and you will see things like this happening nearly every weekend. This kind of behavior is tame compared to what happens during college spring break in places like Florida.

This incident is just a consequence of having females integrated into the military.
