**Cheney doesn't look that sick to me. I hope he hangs around for a while (meaning I wish him well). He is a brilliant and decent man. Good for the country in any capacity.**

Neither does he to me. In fact I think he looks better than he did in 2000/2001. I take this report with an enormous pinch of salt. First of all he is talking about next year so anything can happen in that time frame and he can easily come up with some explanation when as I believe nothing happens.

Dick Cheney has stated he will retire in 2009 and go fishing and exploring rivers he has yet to see. I am certain he will also appear from time to time giving his views on current issues. He may also be involved should his daughter Liz run for public office which I would think is very likely especially now she has gone back to the State Department.

To further confirm our comments that his health currently does not seem to be an issue; this is his daily schedule that he advised IMUS of in the interview on Inauguration Day.

""""I start out at home in the morning about 7 a.m. with a CIA briefer. They come and brief me every morning six days a week. And I go through what's called the President's daily brief.

Then I go into the Oval Office and have a session with him at 8 o'clock where we go over the same brief. I go over it twice, partly because I don't like to interfere with his time with my questions. So I ask separate questions of my briefer.

Then we have the director of the FBI in, as well, and look at the domestic threats. And, again, we do that five or six days a week.

And then after that, it's whatever hot. We'll have a National Security Council meeting. We've got a lot of policy meetings that we do. I spend a fair amount of time on the Hill.

I'm actually, most people don't realize, a creature of the Senate. I'm actually paid by the United States Senate. Vice presidents didn't even have an office in the executive branch until the Eisenhower administration. They really are a legislative animal, if you will. And that's changed over the years. But I do spend a lot of time up on the Hill.

And work the national security policy. Those are issues the president asked me to get involved in when I first came on board because of my background at defense and so forth.

But I also spend a fair amount of time on domestic issues, and try to wrap up the day by 6 or 7 o'clock at night and then start fresh the next day.""""

Hardly the schedule of a sick man.

Also here is picture taken at CPAC on Thursday 17th he looks pretty healthy and very enthusiastic as well not a man who is considering retiring shortly IMHO.

Also his concluding statement in the speech also shows his continued commitment and his intent to remain for the full 4 years.

""All of us know there is much yet to do, and you can be certain that President Bush and I are eager for the work ahead. On his behalf, I want to thank our many friends gathered here tonight. We are deeply grateful for your support, and for the high honor of serving the American people for four more years. Thank you very much. ""

I look forward to him continuing for 4 more years and thank you Mr Vice President you are an inspiration to us all, old, young, fit and not so fit, God Bless you may you remain in office until January 2009 and then go spend time with your grandchildren, your fishing, hunting and of course your lovely wife. God Bless the whole Cheney family.

A great picture of our VP. He looks great. Happy and smiling.

Compare that to a recent picture of the Hildabeast. She doesn't look nearly that good. Nor does she smile a lot. Mainly I just see the contempt emanating from behind those eyes for the American people who have rejected her and her kind.
