This has been the non stop rumour off and on for 18 months this smells of a RAT rumour they still fear Cheney. IMHO Cheney is going nowhere as for health reasons again IMHO he has not looked better for years and schedule indicates there is no problem there either.

Plus also would VP be an actual promotion for Condi, Dick Cheney has a unique postion as VP but IMHO Condi would not have the same situation so she would probably view it as stagnation and not promotion. She is to valuable as Secretary of State to put her to VP does not make sense; if she is interested in running in 08 no problem she is in a promient up front postion and as far as the general public are concerned - more so than as VP.
