Not only is he after our guns, McSatin co-wrote his own version of Kyoto with Lieberman. They're the source of the bogus claims that the polar bear is becoming endangered. They want to ban global warming. Let's not even get into CFR, even though the loophole he wrote for John Kerry backfired in his face. He's as far left as Hillary. Even to his alleged pro-life stance. If ordered to do so by his bosses and if there's political capital in it for him, he'll do a 180 on that.

Interesting take from Rush about the Rats

Hillary Wants Holiday for Felon Voting,
McAuliffe Hides "Demzilla" from Dean
February 18, 2005

First, ladies and gentlemen, more news about Mrs. Clinton. "Ex-felons would win the right to vote in federal elections - as long as they served their time and completed probation - under a bill backed by Sen. John F. Kerry and his possible 2008 rival, Sen. Hillary Clinton. Kerry spokesman David Wade said, 'Those who have paid their debt to society and stayed out of trouble should participate in federal elections because that is part of being a good citizen.' Clinton outlined the Count Every Vote Act yesterday--"

(Laughing) They call it the Count Every Vote Act and it's really a bill to let ex-felons vote? "Clinton outlined the Count Every Vote Act yesterday with Senator Boxer and Representative Stephanie Tubbs Jones of Ohio who forced the congressional debate on the certification of the 2004 election results. Kerry said the bill was not meant to question those results.

'This has nothing to do with me. This is a right, an American right.' The bill would make Election Day a federal holiday and provide voters a paper receipt if they vote on electronic machines." So the left in America pushing for another day off for people, less capitalism going on. They are hoping that the bill will pass and will become a federal holiday and that ex-felons will be allowed to vote. We got a call on this. Jerry in Greenville, South Carolina, welcome to the EIB Network. Hello, sir.

CALLER: Hey, Rush.

RUSH: Hi.

CALLER: Here's what I want to know: Here we have Hillary, who supposedly is making this turn to the right to position herself as the presidential candidate and she's coming out in favor of felons voting? How does that jibe?

RUSH: Well, it doesn't. It doesn't. She's flirting with this. She's not becoming a conservative. This whole business about abortion was a trial condom, a balloon, folks, you know, you don't think she's actually becoming a conservative, do you? You know what this is about?

CALLER: No, I know, but she's supposedly trying to position herself as such and this is counter to that so I don't know if she's simply messed up or... it doesn't make any sense to me strategically why she's doing that.

RUSH: I think she's probably determined that the effort has failed. I mean, look it, there's a lot of stuff that we don't know. I mean, all we know is that Hillary goes and talks to some abortion group, pro-life, or what was it, pro-choice group and said something that made everybody think that she's more lenient when it comes to abortion.

And I'll guarantee you she heard from supporters behind the scenes. I will guarantee you that she had the riot act read to her by her constituency. You can't do this. I've tried to explain this. All this notion of going and tacking to the right in a phony -- it's not authentic. It isn't going to work in this day and age. You know, many of you still think that it's a grand strategy. She moves to the right, Dean moves to the left and makes Hillary look more reasonable. There's no coordination here. This party can't agree on anything. Dean's is in his own battle for power with Dingy Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi and there's big news out of the DNC again today.

Terry McAuliffe put the screws to Dean when he left. He has given the Democrat congressional and senatorial campaign committees total access to the DNC's fund-raising list, that has not been done before. But McAuliffe, that's his parting shot, so all the people at the Senate and the House who are Democrats running for re-election have access to the mailing lists of all the contributors to the DNC.

Now, you might think that this is common but it's not. And what it does, it diminishes Dean power, because it's a fund-raising job. So it's taking the fund-raising aspect out of his hands, not totally, but much less of his control. And the name of this list, by the way, that the DNC fund-raiser list is called Demzilla. This is what they call it, because it's so huge. Godzilla, Demzilla. And now McAuliffe signed off on letting the Senate and House Democrats have access to it.

Republicans have their own, and they have their own congressional campaign committees as well. The RNC has its own list. But there's not automatic access to it. You know, because the parties -- it's got a job. Raise money for one thing. Candidates have their job, raise money for themselves. So now McAuliffe's good-bye wave to Dean, he's fuming. This is not a good-bye wave, this is the bird five or six times, you know, three feet tall. I mean Dean's fuming over this, folks, so there's no coordination and Hillary knows who their voters are.

Here's some more on this little scandal here at the DNC. Apparently Dingy Harry and Pelosi asked McAuliffe to give them access to the DNC's fund-raiser and donor mailing list, and Dean was angry about this, and here's why. Demzilla, the big DNC donor and fund-raiser list, is one of the few tools that the DNC has that it can leverage for fund-raising. The money that the DNC raise would then be used to help support Democrat candidates and party operations, but now with everybody having access to the same list, the DNC has no leverage.

You know, you have these candidates over there, and they want help and they go to Dean, Dean's empowered by the ones he helps, but they don't need Dean. They don't need Dean because they can go get the Demzilla list now. They're going to have it. And this is Terry McAuliffe's parting gift.

According to a senior adviser to Nancy Pelosi, McAuliffe was approached about opening up Demzilla during a Democrat retreat after the elections. A new campaign committee chairman, Rahm Emanuel and Chuck Schumer, along with Pelosi and Dingy Harry lobbied McAuliffe for full access. Each of them made the point that given Dean's background -- (Laughter) -- given Dean's background and the doubts that Reid and Pelosi had about him, it would be most helpful to give them the same tools the DNC would have.

It was a pure power play by Pelosi and Reid, nothing more. Big slap at Dean. And McAuliffe went along with it. Apparently, if you read between the lines here, Pelosi and Dingy Harry are afraid that Dean would withhold DNC money from them or any other Democrat that he didn't like, or didn't think was operating in a way he thought they should, because they don't trust him. They think he's a nut. Dean said publicly that he's supportive of the file sharing but privately advisers say he is seething that McAuliffe made a major executive decision without fully consulting with him.

I'll bet. I'm telling you, now, this list called Demzilla contains more than 175 million donor names, along with voter and general consumer data. And it's this list that was touted by McAuliffe as the great equalizer for the Democrats in the search for small donors. So the DNC used to be exclusively in charge of 175 million-name mailing list, and now the Democrat congressional and senatorial campaign committees have free and open access to it because of a deal McAuliffe made on the way out the door.

Rush is going to give our troops in Afghanistan such a lift .. such love and support from all of us. He's been trying to visit the troops for two years, and now he's been allowed to .. and he's paying his own way... they're going to enjoy him SO much! Can't wait to hear him phone in, and all the good news we're not hearing. Wonder if he had to get all kinds of vaccinations.

Don't ever let these power-hungry politicians win the privilege of living at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.!!

GOD BLESS OUR BRAVE MILITARY!

My feelings exactly!! He'll never settle for 2nd best .. what would it give him at his age?? He'd have more rabble-rousing, attention-getting face time as a senator. He's tasted the "contender" spotlight .. he wants to be #1. Just my 3-1/2 centavos.

No, it was a power play by Hillary. She's the top dog. Reid and McAuliffe are the tail end.

Well reno ran against Jeb Bush and hitlery wants to beat Hanoi Kerry in 08

Are YOU willing to listen to the CINO's (Conservative in name only) again?

they just look old, bitter and evil instead.

McLaims support is ALL from democrats or recent ex-democrats, he knows that.. Mclaim is a republican mole like Spectre.. Democrats know that too.. Some pubbies DON'T however..<

See my post #244, You don't win reelection with 76% of the vote and outdraw the GOP nominee for President by 300,000 votes if you don't have some GOP support. McCain has a lifetime ACU rating of 83, compared to Hillary's 9, Kerry's 5, Lieberman's 17, John Warner's 81, and McConnell's 89 . Ron Paul has an 83 ACU rating.

The ACU rating on McCain's voting record is inconsistant with the legislation he writes and supports and his actions in certain committees on with he worked with John Kerry. He's been Kerry's bum boy for years.

I will not support him for president. I will do everything in my power to make sure the ghosts of our POW/MIAs follow him to his political grave.

Sorry, I am not dealing with emotions---just the ratings of an accepted conservative organization. I am sorry the facts don't square with your perceptions. McCain has a voting record based on over 22 years in the Senate. He has been moving to middle to position himself for a run for the Presidency in 2008. He represents his constituency in Arizona as evidenced by the overwhelming support for reelection.

Here's my email to Fox News. It wouldn't hurt for them to get more requests for a transcript, so let them hear from you.

After watching the press conference in Iraq of Senators McCain, Clinton, Graham, Collins and Feingold, I was horrified with some of Senator McCain's remarks. Toward the end of the press conference, Lindsey Graham was asked two questions, one of which inquired how long we would have to stay in Iraq. Graham answered, (paraphrasing) As long as it takes. The other question was about Social Security reform. After Graham answered, Senator McCain took what appeared to be the last question. I don't have the direct quote of what Senator McCain said, but in paraphrasing he remarked that the only way we would leave Iraq prematurely was if our troops were to start suffering large numbers of casualties! Thankfully, before McCain could continue telegraphing to our enemies how to win the war and drive us out of Iraq with disastrous results, Senator Graham jumped in and interrupted McCain.

McCain's "save" by Senator Graham was interesting since he had already answered the question directed to him about Social Security. Nevertheless, Graham boldly interrupted McCain's treasonous remarks and awkwardly changed the subject to Social Security again. By the looks of McCain's forced smile and clenched teeth, he was clearly irritated and startled that Graham butted in and took over.

To me, Senator McCain's statements were not only irresponsible, but subversive. We are still at war. There is something about a United States Senator going to the country where we are fighting said war and stating to our enemies what they need to do in order to drive us out, that clearly undermines our war efforts and jeopardizes more lives of our military men and women. I watched and listened to this press conference, but would appreciate it if Fox News would provide a transcript. Everyone needs to know exactly what John McCain said, and I suppose I need to verify that my own eyes and ears did not deceive me.

Ok read 244...
Clue: The democrats did'nt seek to draft a sitting republican senator(for VeeP) for nothing.. as John Kerry's running mate..

What are the stupid.?. Ugh.. Well, they are stupid but crazy they are not.. Ugh.. Well, maybe they are a little crazy for offering but it outs McLaim as a mole.. He has been nothing but a covert aid to democrats.. But the largest socialist voteing block in the republican party are SSI recipients.. that gov't check is a drug that addles the brain.. Americans over 62 are generally socialists.. the REAL "show me the money" crowd... The very people that should know better and they DO, but don't care..
