The first thing Bush-bots do is degrade a person when they disagree with them. If you don't like my opinion, fine. I will probably never meet you in real life, so I don't need to make you happy. Second, Don't ever question my patriotism or my love of the Corps.
Firstly, I do not agree with Bush on immigration or a couple of other items. I did support him against the traitor.
Secondly, I am 62 years old, but as you should note from my handle I can still handle myself.
Thirdly, you trashed those who shed blood for their country, and so you've heard the expression, "What goes around comes around." I did not want to question your patriotism or love of the Corps, but that was the only way to wake you up to what you are saying is very un-American and wrong.
Fourthly, I am a Nam veteran and spent 6 years on an A-Team. It is individuals such as yourself who would have stopped me from marrying the lady I spent 18 years of my life searching for until I found her in Russia. Next month she will be naturalized. She almost lost her life twice due to reactions from the immunizations. She is so excited she walks around saying, "Give me liberty or give me death." Everybody loves my wife and nobody would think of her not being a blessing to America. When she applied to come her daughter had just turned 21 and was not eligible to come. We applied to bring her, and the little girl has waited 4 years and has another 1.5 years to go. Does being a Jarhead qualify you to break up families?

Impose a national moratorium on all permanent immigration other than spouses and minor children of U.S. citizens.
How much stricter can you get that zero immigration, legal or illegal ?
Imagine not allowing needed Ph D's, MD's, RN's, and highly qualified scientists to immigrate, and you start to see how insane individuals are on this issue. How can anyone say they love America when the very thing they are suggesting would seriously weaken her?

I would seriously question your 1% figure, because we are gaining one-million illegal immigrants per month, and that works out to well over your 1%. According to CIA - The World Factbook -- United States our population growth rate is .92%
I would seriously question your one-million illegal immigrants per month figure. According to the Census Bureau between 2000 and 2004 nearly 6.1 million new immigrants (legal and illegal) arrived from abroad. New arrivals are offset by deaths and return migration among the existing immigrant population so that the net total increased by 4.3 million.
About half are illegal. That comes to about 42,000 illegals a month. You are grossly misinformed.

1st: I also do not agree with President Bush on the immigration issue.
2nd: I am not questioning the volume of testosterone flowing through your veins. I could tell from your tagline that you were Special Forces.
3rd: I have never and will never defame those who have served honorably.
4th: If you have read any of my posts on the other immigration threads, you will note that Howlin, Bayourod, Cultural Jihad, and others have labelled me a fascist, rascist, and nazi for my views on illegal immigration. I have always been pro-legal immigration. I would never have stopped you from marrying your wife. As long as a person lives his life within the boundries of the Constitution and the laws of this great nation I have no beef with them. But, should a person violate the laws or Constitution, than I have a problem.
Your wife and her daughter followed the laws of this nation, as did my grandparents, and came here legally. God bless all of them. But, should any of them come here illegally, then they should be deported.

You two apparently both served this country well. You both probably agree with each other on 90% of the issues and even on immigration, I don't see a huge difference. Some differences yes, but not many. just an observation.

Thanks, I'm glad you clarified that. I hate illegal immigration. However, the organization in your original post obviously wants to eliminate even legal immigration, and I believe that strongly undermines the country. I would oppose them with the same ferocity as those who support illegal immigration.

Back then Immigrants didn't have free welfare, healthcare and everything else.
There was actual assimilation and respect for this nation. Today there is BiLingual education and no respect for this nations history
My ancestors came here and had no government help and learned English and got up on their own 2 feet.
