Condi Rice action figure debuts

DANBURY, Conn., Feb. 18 (UPI) -- Political action figure maker Herobuilders.com, of Danbury, Conn., has added Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice to its stable, it said Friday.
The Condi doll, part of the "Female Heroes" collection, is outfitted in a navy blue pant suit, powder blue blouse and faux pearl necklace and sells for $24.95.
Some of the other action figures offered by Herobuilders include Saddam Hussein, Osama bin Laden, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-N.Y., filmmaker Michael Moore and Jesus.

Condi does have a Letterman-style gap-tooth, but it would have been more classy if the doll maker didn't reproduce it.
In any case, these doll-makers know that there's an airtight legal case against using another's image without permission, but they also know that people like Condi Rice are not going to get in a legal mudfight with them. So they get away with it.

I agree with you. It makes her look too heavy, too juvenile, and unkept looking. I don't like it at all.
She is one classy lady and the doll should reflect that and not make her look like some lesbian rapper.

I was thinking that the other four were out of place being associated with the word hero. Jesus is my personal hero, as well as savior, Lord, redeemer, teacher, and friend.
